Diamond woke up with a splitting headache and a very fuzzy memory. He rests his head in his palms and sighed at the one part he did remember. He remembered he and a girl he had met at the bar last night called Platinum hitting it off and soon enough, they were making out. Diamond sighed and got up to get a drink of water.

Diamond was walking with his best friend, Pearl. The two had been best friends since young. 20 years later, they are still best friends. Diamond was chatting with Pearl non-stop about Platinum. Pearl poked at the young man in his sides and grinned.

'You like her! Admit it!' teased Pearl playfully. Diamond blushed and stared at the ground.

Diamond sighed as he remembered that Platinum told him that she had a boyfriend back home. It broke his heart. Pearl noticed his change of mood and stared awkwardly.

Diamond put a hand to where his heart was and clutched the fabric of his shirt. He remembered all the times at the bar he wanted to buy a drink for her. When he did, he didn't regret it. They talked like there was no tomorrow. Diamond fell for Platinum hard. Diamond felt his phone vibrate. He checked a message and gleefully excused himself from Pearl and ran in the opposite direction.

Diamond was so happy when he and Platina went for a walk. She seemed very happy to him again. His heart soared once more only to be shot down again. He stared at Platina wide eyed after she told him she "Friendzoned" him. He smiled weakly and said it was ok. Platinum sighed a breath of relief and smiled at him.

F***, It sucks your honesty
I wouldn't wanna be him, no I don't really wanna be me

Diamond sweared silently. Platinum dragged him along a park. Her face was so happy that he didn't know how to say "no".

Diamond was surprised when Platinum asked him if he could drop her off at the airport. At the airport, he felt his heart sag ever so slightly knowing he might never see her again after today. Platinum was checking in her stuff when the intercom came on, saying that it was time for Platina's plane to take off. Platinum gave Diamond a sad smile and gathered her things.

For Diamond, everything was in slow-motion. Platina had just waved goodbye when he suddenly grabbed her hand and spun her around. Platinum dropped some of her luggage and her arms were folded between them.

Diamond stared at her with a plain expression, adding more curiosity for Platinum. Platinum searched his eyes, wondering why he was doing this.

Diamond brought Platinum in closer and kissed her. Platinum was shocked for a couple of seconds but didn't resist. Diamond felt like the happiest guy in the world, but also he knew it was the last time he would see her so he cherished every second. He broke the kiss and walked away in a hurry, leaving a very stunned Platinum standing alone.

Diamond shed a small tear. He left the airport and saw an airplane take off. He said a silent goodbye and walked along the road to Pearls house.
