Sunset
"Klahadore, I would like to see the sunset." Kaya said.
"Are you sure your able to with your condition?" he asked. About three months ago, Kaya's parents had passed away. It had taken a heavy toll on her. Within a few days she had become ill. Now Kuro was with her all of the time.
"It won't hurt to go outside." she pleaded. He thought for a moment.
"I guess you can see the sunset." he sighed pushing up his glasses. "Would you like Merry to take you?"
"I was thinking you could take me."
"Why would she want me to take her?" he wondered. "Where would you like to see it at?"
"At the bluff. That would be the best place."
After grabbing a blanket to sit on, the two went to the bluff. Kaya had decided to wear a pale blue dress, which Kuro thought was odd since she was only watching the sunset.
Spreading out the blanket, she sat down on it with Kuro standing by. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the last rays of the sun illuminate her face. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Over time his gaze became locked on her. Looking at her made him irritated because there was a warm, content feeling that he did not know what is was.
"Klahadore, you don't have to stand. Sit down." He grudgingly did so.
"So this is why people do this. It makes them have a sense of peace." he thought. Suddenly, his hand felt warmer than it was supposed to be. Glancing down, he saw that it was her hand.
"Miss Kaya..."
"Shh. Let's just watch the sunset." she said quietly.
"So this is why you wanted me to come." he commented. Her cheeks turned to a shade of pink. "It's alright. This turned out better than I thought it would.
I'm sorry that this was short. Please R and R!
