A New Level of Romance
"Nya, Ochibi! What did you do for Valentine's Day with Tezuka, nya?" asked Kikumaru.
At the moment all of the Seigaku Regulars minus their stoic buchou was standing outside the school gates; they were waiting for Tezuka so they could go eat.
"Eiji! You shouldn't ask him about that!" exclaimed Oishi. The mother hen did not want to find out what his best friend and kouhai got up to on the day for lovers.
"Fsshhh...Oishi-senpai is right..." hissed Kaidoh.
"85% that they played tennis. 5% they went to movies. 10% they went on a date," announced Inui.
"Hehe...I don't think that they played tennis. Maybe something special, hm...now I want to know too," chuckled Fuji.
"Oi! Gaki, tell us yo, tell us!" exclaimed Momo.
"Ano, minna, Kaidoh and Oishi are right. That is private. We shouldn't ask him to tell us," said Taka.
"Che. Mada mada dane, senpai-tachi," muttered Echizen.
"Oi! Ochibi! What did you guys do? Come oooonnnn!" whined Kikumaru.
"We reached a new level of romance," Echizen deadpanned.
"NANI?" exclaimed the other regulars, minus Fuji and Inui.
"Echizen, that's enough," commanded Tezuka as he approached the group. No one but Fuji and Echizen noticed the slight reddening of Tezuka's cheeks.
"Uisu," conceded Echizen.
-Flashback-
"Echizen, did you agree to date me because you didn't know how to say no?" asked Tezuka.
"Che, what kind of question is that," replied Echizen.
"Just answer the question," said Tezuka.
"Mada mada, Buchou. I wouldn't have said yes to you if I didn't feel something towards you," answered Echizen.
"I love you, Ryoma, I wanted to let you know," whispered Tezuka. The reaction he received was quite a shock. Echizen began to stutter and became red all over his face.
"A-ano, Ku-Kunimitsu, I lo-love you too," whispered Echizen before leaning in to place a chaste kiss on Tezuka's lips.
-End Flashback-
