Duncan was tousled and finally fell to the rough dirt, the tough rocks underneath cutting into his back. The fight was over, and his time had come. His weapons strewn across the field, his armor shattered, his pride destroyed. The grey warden had fallen.
Sten stood over him, the only lingering remains of his armor a single gauntlet and his torn undergarments, deep cuts and abrasions across his muscular body. He had been told that Wardens would be worthy opponents, and indeed this one had been. The qunari was impressed with the warden's stamina, the conflict had been going on for hours.
They paused for a moment as the cool breeze rippled across their taught bodies, Sten watching a single drop of sweat run down the warden's taught stomach. He smiled to think he had caused such exertion. Duncan paused to watch a droplet of blood run down from a wound he had caused but minutes earlier as it healed rapidly. Another shot of adrenalin kicked in. Sten would soon be ready to continue. If he wished to survive, he would have to be too.
He rocked back onto his side and onto his elbow, wincing as the rocks extracted themselves from his back. The taint would heal him rapidly. Sten was taken aback at the rapid movement, before the air was knocked out of him, Duncan's remaining boot placed firmly in his gut. In once swift movement Duncan rolled forward arcing around Sten, releasing a second powerful kick to the back of his knee, toppling the giant backwards.
The warden took his fall as the perfect opportunity to end this, at least for himself.
He leapt atop of Sten, amidst a flurry of elbows, and grabbed his ankles. Lifting them above his opponents head he flexed his powerful arms and pushed hard, kicking back against the dirt with his legs and moving forward in one swift motion.
Sten gasped as the fight ended.
"Kadan," he remarked, "you are a fierce warrior."
Duncan was too kind hearted not to smile, even through the ecstasy that had come with entering his opponent. He leaned forward, unsure at first, if the Qunari kiss. This one, at least, did. Sten's tongue hungrily ravaged his mouth, his muscular thighs tensing and releasing. He could not hold on much longer, and with a long moan he released himself inside the Qunari.
The encounter over, Duncan knew he had to move on to Highever. Sten put a single finger to his lips before the inevitable sad goodbye began. "Panahedan, Kadan," he said quietly.
"Goodbye, Sten."
