September 1st, 1972

I walked over to my step mother on the cold white floor.

Clip clop.

My heels sounded on the floor and I wanted to jump with joy. Me, Dan, Ryan and Pete were very dressed up, them looking like mini accountants and I looking like Mary Poppins without the bonnet. "Children, you understand what me and your father expect of you" she said with her nasally voice with a stern face.

"Yes, Ma'am" I said with clenched teeth.

"Jo, do not mumble! What do I tell you about a women who mumbles?" She said pointing a manicured finger at me. "She shan't get married" I responded rolling my eyes with a fake English accent. She nodded and looked satisfied. "Dad?" I asked he was looking at me intently.

"Jo and Boys, I wish you didn't have to leave, but you need Hogwarts as much as it needs you guys" he said tears in his eyes. "Posey, do not cry" my step mother said in false voice. I rolled my eyes at the tone. We started to climb up the train helping hoisting our stuff up. As we put our stuff in 2 different compartments. As the train started to move I waved to dad.

"Bye!" I said through the open window.

As my brothers made sure the doors were closed I changed into some jeans, a t-shirt and some chucks. The boys told me to go and put my clothes away, but instead there was 4 boys in the compartment.

I felt ready to scream, when one of the boys said

"Hey what are you doing in our compartment" he reminded me of a handsome cheeky monkey with black hair and strong features.

"Your compartment? Well Mr. I actually have my stuff here" I said standing my ground. " I like you Sparky" said the same boy. " I'm Sirius Black, the one with glasses is James Potter and the other two are Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew". I gave him a half smile and said "I'm Jo Jackson" trying not to create a show about my heritage, even if I knew the last names Black and Potter from somewhere.

And I finally made some friends .
