So, I decided that this will be the fanfiction I work on alongside Goku In Remnant. I thought it would be funny that he would have the same body as Goku from the other fanfiction (although far stronger in this case) but would act very differently. This is going to be basically my own version of Black Roses, it'll take a different route than Black Roses, although the intro will be very similar. Credit to Joking4Ever56 for the idea of Goku Black in RWBY, as he created the Black Roses fanfiction in the first place, I recommend you check out his profile, and definitely his fanfiction if you are reading this first.
For starters, while Joking nerfed Goku Black in his version (still able to destroy mountains but lost most of his strength) I won't be doing so, Goku Black will not only have SSJR, he'll also have all of his previous powers. For those that don't know, Goku Black would basically be omnipotent in RWBY, in the sense that he would be absolutely all powerful and nothing could come remotely close to challenging him, I needn't explain why.
I should mention that I'm going to make Goku Black a little nicer for the sake of the story, to the extent where he wouldn't just kill every mortal he sees, if he did that the story would be over quickly, sorry if you dislike that, there wasn't really any other characters I wanted to crossover into RWBY, I thought of doing Future Trunks (Android Saga), so I might do that in the future, if you want to see me do a Future Trunks version, just leave a review telling me, I love reviews, whether or not they are supporting or criticising me.
With that said, It's time to start.
Chapter 1
A battle between godly beings was finally coming to an end. The Evil God Zamasu was fighting a powerful warrior named Vegito, fused from two other warriors named Goku and Vegeta.
Vegito didn't realize that his time was running out faster than normal because of Super Saiyan Blue. But even if he did realize it was too late, he defused, and turned back into the two warriors, Zamasu punched to two into the ground.
He flew down to the two, and formed his Ki blade, about to kill them both. But his blade was stopped by warrior Trunks.
After a short skirmish between the two, Trunks was easily gaining the upper hand.
"Don't you see?! I'M EVERLASTING!" Zamasu said while regenerating two slashes on his chest, then hitting Trunks away on to the ground.
Zamasu jumped and brought his blade down on the defensive Trunks, who was trying to keep Zamasu at bay with his own blade.
"Tell me how will you escape my justice next? Will you run to the past asking for help from your pathetic mortal herd, or this time will you try the future? HOW WILL YOU COMPENSATE FOR YOUR WEAKNESS NOW?!" Zamasus shouted.
"Compared to Gods, then of course we're weak...but you'll never make me ashamed of that, cause when we mortals do join forces, that's when we can do anything. Because believing in our fellow man and helping each other to survive, THAT'S WHAT REDEEMS US! THAT'S WHAT MAKES US WHO WE ARE, MAKES US WORTHY, THAT'S WHAT GIVES US ARE REAL POWER!" Trunks shouted in response, while powering up with a blue light.
Suddenly, all of the power from everyone in the world aside from Zamasu is entering Trunks, even Goku and Vegeta.
Trunks charged forward and stabbed Zamasu directly with his large blade. After backing away, he charged forward again, slicing upwards through Zamasu, cutting him in half. The threat was finally over, Zamasu was gone.
Unknown Universe, Remnant.
Beacon Academy.
"Jaune Arc, Lie Ren, Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie, the four of you retrieved the right rook pieces. For this day forward you will work together as...team JNPR." A main with white hair said.
"Led by, Jaune Arc!" He said loudly.
"And finally, Blake Belladonna, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, and Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces, from this day forward you will work together as, team RWBY, led by, Ruby Rose." The man said.
"Looks like things are shaping up to be an….interesting year." He finished.
After everyone had left the room where the teams were assigned, and RWBY had gone outside, they noticed a light suddenly appeared near the school, it disappeared shortly, and they saw a man falling from outside of it.
He hit the ground hard, causing a loud noise, and a small crater was made.
They quickly ran over to check him.
They were surprised to see that he had no visible injuries, but he was unconscious.
They decided to take him to the school hospital (just assuming they have one considering what kind of school it is), and inform the professors.
Black's POV
After he was defeated as Merged Zamasu, he didn't find himself in the afterlife like he had expected, instead, he found himself in a void, with nothing in it but himself.
"Where the hell am I?" Goku black questioned.
"You are in the void." A void called out, surprising Black.
"That hardly answers my question, show yourself!" Black demanded.
"I don't have a physical form, so I am afraid that is impossible." The voice responded.
"Tch, who are you then?" Black asked.
"I have no name, or if I did, I forgot it in the eternity I've spent here." The voice replied.
"What am I supposed to do now? Just sit here?" Goku Black asked.
"I don't know what'll happen to you or how you got here, but I don't think you will be staying here for long." The voice responded.
"What makes you say that?" Black asked.
"I don't know it for a fact, but there are likely beings controlling the void, Gods perhaps? I wouldn't know, in any case, you aren't the first who's come here, and you definitely won't be the last, there are many other people here, but most don't have the ability to speak, and lost their physical forms, the fact that you can still talk and have a body means you are exceptionally powerful. Anyways, I have seen other people with the ability to talk and still have a physical form, but every time I see them they leave shortly." The voice answered.
"I see, that's one bit of good news I suppose." Black responded.
Suddenly, he heard another voice call out to him.
"Goku Black, can you hear me?" The voice asked.
"Yes, who are you?" Goku Black questioned.
"Who I am is irrelevant. I am here to give you a chance." The voice called out.
"A chance for what?" Goku Black asked.
"A chance to redeem yourself, I know what you've done in your past life, normally people like you are punished, but you are very powerful, so I'm giving you a chance of a new life, if you accept my offer, you will be sent to a new world, what you do there is your choice, but if you die again while committing evil, you will not get another chance. You can use your powers for good, but whether or not you do is up to you." The voice said.
"You talk like I'm evil, all I did was silence the worthless mortals plaguing the universe with their evil." Black responded angrily.
"It's true that mortals have a long way to go, but, that doesn't mean they should be destroyed, if you tried helping the mortals be better, rather than trying to destroy them for being evil, you might be surprised with what happens." The voice said.
"You expect me to believe the words of a voice I don't even know? Ridiculous." Black said.
"You don't need to believe me, in any case, make your choice, will you enter this new world, or will you stay here for eternity?" The voice asked.
"Tell me, what is it like on this new world? I would prefer to know where I'm going before I go there." Goku Black asked.
"It isn't too different from the planet you call Earth, the place where you died, the technology is a little different however, and there are some other big differences. Similarly to Earth, the most common species is humanity, however there are also creatures known as Fanaus that exist here, they are like humans but possess specific animal traits, such as tails or wings. As I said, the technology is different, they also use a material known as "Dust" to enhance their equipment. You should know that on this planet are creatures called Grimm, they are purely evil beings that desire nothing but destruction, they won't hesitate to attack you if they see you, but you can deal with them easily. Humans counter Grimm with people called Huntsman and Huntresses, warriors trained to fight evil, mainly Grimm. Is this enough information for you?" The voice asked.
"Yes, too much information if anything." Goku Black responded.
"I see, what is your decision then?" The voice asked.
"Let me think." Black said.
He still hasn't changed his views on mortals, but maybe he should try to listen for a change, it was his own arrogance that got him killed in the first place. Maybe he could give the mortals a chance for a change. And see where it goes from there.
"Fine, I accept your offer, but if I dislike these mortals, I won't hesitate to destroy them." Goku Black said.
"...I see, very well then, you will be there shortly, close your eyes and act like you are trying to sleep." The voice said.
As Goku Black did what the voice said, he felt himself drifting off into a sleep, before he finally shut down.
Goku Black woke up in a room, it had a white ceiling, white walls, and there were curtains near the white bed he was laying on. He found it funny how everything was pure white, due to his nickname and choice of clothes.
Once he got up, he noticed that there was a nurse standing there looking at him surprised. Goku Black thought of killing her, but he didn't forget his conversation with the voice in the void, he decided to roll with it for now.
"Where am I?" Black asked.
"You are in a hospital room at Beacon Academy." The nurse said.
"How did I get here?" Black asked.
"A few students brought you here, they saw a light appear and the sky and you fell out of it on to the ground unconscious, it's a miracle your spine isn't broken, you must've fallen at least a few hundred feat." The nurse said.
"Hmph, a fall like that is nothing to me." Goku Black said with a smirk on his face.
"Where are the students that took me here?" Black asked.
"I'm not sure, they said they were going to inform the professors and come ba-" while she was saying that someone walked into the room, it was a girl with black hair and a bit of red, behind her were three other girls, I'm assuming you already know what they look like if you're reading this.
"Oh! I'm surprised you're already up, that was a really hard fall." The girl said.
"Hmph, even if I fell ten times that distance I wouldn't feel a thing." Black responded.
"Really? You must be really strong." The girl said.
"An understatement, but yes, I am very strong." Black responded with a cocky tone.
"Well I'm glad you're okay, I guess we should leave now." The girl said while turning to her friends.
Suddenly, another person entered the room, it was a man with white hair and a cane.
"Oh! Professor Ozpin, what are you doing here?" The girl asked.
"I've come to meet with the man who you claimed fell out of the sky...would that be you?" Ozpin asked, turning to Black.
"Yes. I am, who are you?" Black asked in response.
"I am the headmaster of this academy, Ozpin. What's your name?" Ozpin responded.
Black smirks at this.
"Zamasu, although some people call me Goku." Black said.
"I see, what do you want me to call you then?" Ozpin asked.
"Call me Goku." Black responded.
He had thought of saying Goku Black, but he'd rather not bring up anything that would likely lead to him talking about his previous life unless it was necessary.
"I see, well then Goku, would you be okay with coming to my office so we can have a more comfortable talk?" Ozpin asked.
"Sure, lead the way." Black responded.
In Ozpin's office.
"Please, take a seat." Ozpin said, gesturing towards a seat while he sat in his own.
"Will do." Black responded.
"So, do you know where you are?" Ozpin asked.
"I know that this place is called Beacon Academy, that's what the nurse told me anyways."
"That's right, do you know how you got here?" Ozpin asked, curious based on what he was told.
Goku Black was hoping he wouldn't be asked this, so he thought of an excuse.
"No, I don't remember much before waking up in the room before, aside from things like my name." Black responded.
"I see, that is unfortunate...based on the fact that you survived that fall with no damage, I can assume you are a fighter?" Ozpin asked.
"Yes, if I wanted to I could probably defeat everyone in this school at the same time." Black responded confidently.
"Really now? Normally I wouldn't believe anyone who makes a claim like that, but for some reason I feel inclined to believe you. Tell me, would you care to become a teacher at this academy?" Ozpin asked.
"I'm not interested in teaching children." Black responded.
"I see, but based on what you told me, you don't have anywhere to go, correct? Living here may be the best opportunity for you. You could also be a security guard if that's okay." Ozpin said.
It's true, Black had nowhere to go, and knew almost no one here. Of course he could take care of himself if he lived on his own, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad to live here? It could even benefit him.
"Fine, I'll stay here and do what you want. Where will I stay?" Black asked.
"Excellent, you can stay wherever you feel suits you, even the student dorms if you like, we have a lot of empty rooms." Ozpin replied.
"What are the names of the girls who helped me when I fell on the ground near the school?" Black asked.
"Oh, their names are Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long, their team name is team RWBY." Ozpin replied.
"Give me a room near them, aside from you they are the only people here I know." Black responded.
"I see, by the way, on top of being a security guard, you are free to help teams on their missions and train them as you see fit." Ozpin said.
"Good, I will take my leave now." Black said while leaving the room.
