Ying Fa Ge Ge
Chapter 1---THE SHOT
This story takes place during Emperor Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty of China around 350 years ago. Tomoyo and her loyal maid, Chiharu, were traveling to find Tomoyo's father--- the Emperor. While traveling, she met an obnoxious girl whose name was Sakura. Sakura was with her two friends, who were siblings, Yamazaki and Naoko performing martial arts in the streets. After a long time exploring, Sakura and Tomoyo decided they should be sworn sisters, and because of that, Tomoyo revealed her story of why she came to China. Sakura, Yamazaki, and Naoko decided and agreed to help Tomoyo find her father.
The day has come. It's the time of year again that Qianlong, along with some other people would go hunting. Tomoyo, Sakura, and Chiharu were climbing the mountains to get to the official hunting ground. Because of Tomoyo and Chiharu's weak body, they were injured and couldn't make it to the top. So Tomoyo told Sakura to give the Emperor a painting and fan that the Emperor gave to her mother. While Sakura was trying not to get caught, she was hiding behind a tree, where there was a deer right in front of her. The fifth son of the Emperor, Syaoran, didn't see that there was a girl behind the tree, who was peeking. Syaoran aimed the arrow to the deer, but the deer noticed it and quickly ran away. The arrow hits Sakura, almost to the heart. He noticed of what he did, and quickly came over there.
