SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 107!

Misa brushed out her long blonde hair, staring into her mirror, her face reflected back at her. She appeared content, smiling only slightly and eyes shining.

She finally put down her hair brush, and swivels in her large oak chair that was lined with red velvet, matching the rest of her gothic-styled room. The dolls with stitched faces and large leather bound books decorated the shelves, and candles that lit the room with dim lights all placed on a small dresser to her left.

She stands and walks over to another, smaller dresser that had the most candles on it, and also several pictures of herself... with Raito. She picks one up, holding it closer to her face before enveloping the frame in a hug.

"Raito-kun, it's Valentine's Day you know," She said in a cheery voice to the picture of her beloved Raito.

She took the picture away from her bosom, setting it on the dresser again and leaning in closer. "Our first Valentine's Day, Mochi had given Misa some chocolates and said they were from you." She blew out one of the candles on the dresser.

"The next year, you actually gave me a flower in person. That made me so happy..." She smiled warmly and began to run her fingers across the top of the frame before leaning forward and blowing out another candle.

"The year after that, we went to a nice cafe and had some little cakes there. That was so sweet of you." She giggled, resting her elbow on the shrine and resting her chin on her hand. Once again, she softly blew out one of the illuminating candles.

"The next year you were too busy to take Misa anywhere yourself, so you sent her a black rose. It was beautiful, and even though she wasn't able to spend any time with Raito, Misa was still very happy." She blew on another candle and the light flickered out.

"On our fifth Valentine's Day; Raito kissed Misa because he was too busy..." She blew out another candle with still cheery look on her face. She was just glad that he had found time for her.

After all, even if he didn't give her anything, she would still love Raito.

She would do anything for her Raito.

"But this year, Raito isn't here. Misa misses Raito so much... she doesn't know what to do."

What was she supposed to do without her Raito?

She had lived for Raito, but now she had nothing.

"But Raito, Misa is going to see you again soon! Misa will look for you there."

She blew out the last candle, leaving to room almost pitch black. She still managed to navigate herself around the room as she pulled out a glinting knife from her larger dresser and sitting in her large chair.

"I love you Raito."

And silence sliced through the room as suddenly as the knife had sliced through her throat. Her blood spilled around her, leaving not a stain on the black carpet though as she went limp, leaning back in her chair and closing her eyes.

Even after her body was found and taken away, Misa's image would always be reflected in her vanity mirror.

Misa opened her eyes, as she was lying on a solid surface, though it bright and shining white, the same as all her surroundings. She sat up, looking around her as something stood out against the white.

Raito was standing there, holding out his hand towards her.

"Come on Misa, let's rule our new world."
