Chapter 1- Welcome to the Academy
In the burned lands of the Yellow Sun lived 5 tribes of humans, resisting the attacks of the beasts inhabiting theese lands.
The fearcest creatures in those lands are the dragons, lords of the skyes and scorchers of cityies. The most elite warriors that hold off the flame lizzards are the brave hunters of the Academy, a big organization that recruits the best fighters of those 5 tribes every 20 years.
The Academy tests a persons limits so they can be prepared to defend the tribes. Those tribes are found in the 5 climates spread across the lands beneath the Yellow Sun: the Desert Lake in the North, where the ingenious Moaky people live and discover magic artifacts hidden in the mystical sands and creating new weapons; the gigantic Tarcai Mountains that are found in the West, beeing washed by the ocean waves that crash near the peaks of the mountain, and is inhabited by the Narbuy people that craft the best armors and train the best mounts in the land; the Feraj villige, where the Academy is located, found at the edges of the Geat Dragon Scar in the middle of the continent, where the dragons breed and lay eggs; the windy plains of The Wastes found in the South, where almoast no animal lives, exccept the Windbiter Wolves, that are hunted skillfully by the Tracker tribe, for thhey´re pelts; and the stormy hills of the Ice drakes, situated in the East, where a small village of the Drevor people that fiercley hold the dragons from destroying the tribe.
The supreme creatures are the dragons which control the passing of seazons. Those 4 dragons aweken 1 at a time and take over the entire skyes with they´re gigantic boddies, whyle the other 3 dragons sleep in the outskirts of the continent. The rebirth drake sleeps in a magic forest where spores get stuck on its skin and when he flyes above the world the spores fall on the continent and bring life to new plants. The bloom drake sleeps on a star so that when he comes to the continent a gret heat comes, empowering all living beeings. The age drake sleeps in a volcano where his sweat acumulates in his skin. When his sweat falls upon the continent the plants loose they´re vitality and start dying. And the death drake that sleeps in a huge cave where he breaths smoke, covering his body in ashes, that fall on the continent with the dragon snow.
But one tale tales of a great dark dragon that sleeps deep in the Great Dragon Scar, consuming light and darkness, saying that one day he will come to the surface to consume the land and the Yellow Sun. The members of the Academy are training for this momment, that they hope will never come.
Among those 5 tribes there was another one found on the opposite side of the Scar from the Feraj village. This city was a prosperous one that was also home to the greatest dragon hunters. But one night a great horde of dragons came from the Scar, overwhelming the dragon hunters, and burning to the ground the village. They´re only hope was the Feraj village that was supposed to help them in need, but didn´t do anything, causing the greatest hunters to fall. All but one: a child called Rock which was taken in custody by the Feraj people, greifing the death of Rocks people and trying to train him so that he can become a dragon hunter so they can stand a chance if the great dark dragon would come.
Rock grew up to be a strong, tall , black heared hunter, trained to hunt dragons, but with a hatred for the Feraj tribe. His story is about to unwind, while Rock is looking for his destiny.
