Under The Satin Stars

This is a one shot at my fave RHPS pairing. Never done a RHPC fanfic before. Hope you like. Read and Review.

Columbia sat out on the castle balcony, watching the stars twinkle brightly.

"Hmm...Columbia...come back to bed..."

A voice mumbled from the bedroom. Columbia ignored it, smiling slightly as she kicked her legs over the side of the railings. Her legs flew through the ir, nothing but air between them and the stone courtyard below. She liked the feeling of floating, to be free as a bird.

"Co...lumbia..."

She heard the satin sheets rustling in the bedroom, and the sound of feet pattering towards her.

"What ARE you doing?"

Frank asked, resting a hand on her shoulder.

"I'm seeing stars Frankie..."

"Well...yes...I KNOW that Columbia...now WHY are you out here, and not in bed with me?"

"I'm thinking."

"Thinking? But you don't..."

"Think? Ofcourse I think!"

Columbia turned to Frank, her red hair flying in the cold breeze. Frank looked at her with his classic look - partly confused, partly fascinated, partly insulted.

"Oh...forget it Frank!"

She turned away, a tear rolling down her cheek.

"Now...come now darling..."

Frank turned her face towards his. She didn't think he'd seen her tears.

"Frank...it's okay...please...just..."

She put her hand up, trying to push his away, but he forced his hand past hers, running his fingers through her hair.

"What is it?"

"It's just...this castle...I want more out of life...I want love out of life..."

"And you don't have it?"

"I feel love...but I don't feel loved..."

Frank looked at her, and smiled slightly. It wasn't like him to comfort people, and it wasn't like him to admit feelings.

"Well, my dearest Columbia...I can assure you. You ARE loved."

Columbia looked up in disbelief at Frank.

"I love you Frankie."

She smiled,and hugged him slightly.

"Well, that's just as well..."

He smiled widely, lifting her up into his arms and carrying her back to bed.

"Now...Columbia..."

He grinned, laying her down on the satin sheets as she giggled happily.

"I'll really have you seeing stars!"
