A/N: I found this buried in an old journal! Enjoyy!

She was definitely not a normal princess.

Eugene watched with exasperation and a slight amount of admiration as Rapunzel cancelled the waltz that had just started to play, much to the horror of the gathered dignitaries. After a hasty, whispered conversation with a very confused conductor, the orchestra mimicked the street players that were imprinted on Rapunzel's memory.

The foreign princesses and courtiers watched in slight disgust as Rapunzel kicked off the tiresome high heels and gathered the many skirts of her dress and started to dance like she did on the first trip to the city. At first everyone was frozen in horror but Eugene ignored the accusing stares of the others and joined his anti-decorum wife on the dance floor. The pair danced as if they were in the streets again, and not being watched by the surrounding Royalty, they ignored the harsh whispers.

The servants convened at the door ways and laughed, cheering as the couple were joined their own King and Queen. Some of them dignitaries still looked scandalised, which only increased as the four started to pull servants onto the dance floor. The King caught his Queen in a lift as more and more joined and decorum was forgotten.

It was as the song started to draw to a close that Eugene kissed a flushed Rapunzel hard and the cheers and calls increased again, leaving the unconventional princess blushing and with a ring on her finger.
