It is hard to understand sometimes
How a tough kid like me find a friend
Like Yugi who is so warm and sweet
But it was not like that way at first
Tristan and me used to pick on him
I even threw away a Puzzle piece
But he stood up for us
And we became best friends
Our friendship came to a test
It was all because of Pegasus
We had to duel one on one
Just to see who's the best
Me versus Yugi in the final
In the end the way it should be
But Yugi needs his grandpa back
And I need money for Serenity
But I swore to let it all out
We did duel to the bitter end
I wanted the prize money so bad
Even if it means fighting my best friend
Yugi pulled one out of the hat
I never suspected a thing
His Dark Sage won the duel for him
My Time Wizard made it happen
But Yugi gave me the money instead
He is so unselfish I am just so glad
I have a friend like that in my life
I was so overcame with emotion
That's Yugi in a nutshell
We are a team him and I
I am convinced nothing can split us
And the strange thing I have been proved right
Yugi may never read this poem
But I got to say this out loud
Thank you for being my friend
We are best friends forever
