From the same team responsible for the video gaming joyride that was Alien vs. Predator (Sega), comes complete proof that in space, no one can hear you groan, complain, or rage quit!
Aliens: Colonial Marines
If you thought things could never get better after the Alien vs. Predator in 2010, you were right. Prepare to go in guns blazing, as you're forced to work with a team of the most unlikable characters in the franchise, plus a couple of cameos from the second Aliens movie. (Well, look on the bright side. At least the Marines' leader was ok.)
Don't get your hopes up, however, as you're forced to trudge through a gamer's worst nightmare, complete with: a main protagonist who's just another generic soldier trying to survive; weapons that even Call of Duty players will have a hard time handling; and glitches that are guaranteed to haunt you much more than the aliens themselves.
If things are getting too frustrating in story mode, prepare to have your hopes and dreams for multiplayer dashed away, as you're treated to the same glitches and bugs, a series of objectives that are completely pointless, and an alien camera mechanic that failed miserably at fixing what wasn't broken in the first place.
So, buckle up, and prepare to trudge your way through one of the worst video games of all time, because God-forbid people have a good time on this game without breaking their controllers.
Starring:
Generic Soldier Protagonist (Winter)
Femme Fatale (Bella)
Femme Fatale's Lover (O'Neal)
Generic Franchise Cameo (Hicks)
The Only Synthetic that You Can Actually Trust (Bishop)
The Only Human that Doesn't Act Like a Synthetic (Cruz)
and A Ton of Dancing Aliens.
Resident Evil 6: Sci-fi Version
Oh well. Now, who's excited for Alien: Isolation? No one? But it's got a lone alien, survival horror, and everything. Seriously?
I swear this was completely random. I guess that's what happens when you watch Alien vs. Predator videos on Youtube for a couple hours.
Anyways, reviews, as always, are greatly appreciated. No flames, though, please. I know this isn't the kind of stuff I usually write, so I'm certain there's a mistake or two somewhere along the line.
Thanks for the support, and have a nice day! :)
