Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-gi-oh…….In fact I don't even own this fic. My friend owns this fic only she can't get it on here herself so I post it here.
Rise of the Guardian
[It is nighttime and Yugi is sitting on his bed looking at his dueling gautlet and duel disk]
Yugi-"hmm……"
*a hologram of Yami appears*
[Yami notices that Yugi is deep in thought and looks worried about something]
Yami-"Yugi, what's wrong?"
Yugi-"Well, its just that ever tournament that we've been in, it seems that everyone has tried to take the Millenuim Puzzle and well…..its gotton harder and harder to stay one step ahead of these guys, I mean what happens when we meet someone that we can't win against? What then?"
Yami-"We'll deal with that obsticle once we get to it."
Yugi-"But what if we can't? We still don't know enough about your past and almost nothing about your power or how to control it. I know that your power is strong, and my friends will always be there for us, but what if its not enough?!"
Yami stood there for a few moments looking at Yugi.
Yami-"Yugi, something else is bothering you. I don't think I have ever seen you this worried before."
[dream sequence begins to play]
Yugi(voice-over)-"Over the past couple of days, I've been having this dream……it first starts out on this huge ancient island, surrounded by several smaller islands. But on the large island, there stood a grand towering city filled with life as well as the sea and sky. However, soon the sky grows black, and the sea begins to rage, destroying everything in its reach. Then on the horizen a huge flash of light that is blinding comes for a second, but in the flash a menacing looking figure with open jaws hovers above the city. When the light fades, you can see the city is a smoldering pile of rubble, but then from the direction that the beast came from, a huge wave submerges the city beneath the sea, along with several of the smaller islands, making the few remaining islands far and few. But in a small boat about ten people made their way to the most remote island."
Yugi looks up at Yami.
Yugi-" What's it supposed to mean?……What ever that thing was it has great power."
Yami-"What do you mean has great power?"
Yugi notices the tone of concern in Yami's voice.
Yugi-"nothing. Good night."
Not wanting to worry Yami farther, Yugi turns off the light.

Ok I know that chapter wasn't that interesting but it gets way better in the later chapters. Most fics start out kinda boring anyways. I will probably update tommarow if I can get the next chapter from my friend. Don't forget to review!
