There was an alchemist. Her name was the Gorgeous Cardboard Alchemist. One day she was sitting in the cafeteria at HQ when Ed saw her. He fell in love at first sight. Except for how can you fall in love with a cardboard figure? For weeks, months, years, Ed tried to get her to speak. Winry got pissed off and set her on fire. Ed got so sad he killed himself. Oh the angst.
