In the near future beings from the deep knows as Abyssals attacked humanity wiping out most of the world's navy and destroying cities .The Abyssal reasoning was for humanity constant warmongering, only think about themselves and destroying mother nature and poisoning the seas . For the first month's humanity was on the losing until they appeared. Shipgirls. girls who have the souls of pass warships. Humanity using the shipgirls was able to gain the upper hand for a while but the was still locked in war of attrition. For 20 long years the bloody Abyssal raged on .The Abyssal war was bloody bloody and costly. Neither side could overpower the other . Both sides suffered heavy casualties and devastating loses . Having not wanting to continue the costly war . Both sides contact each other for negotiations. They agree for a ceasefire till further negotiations. It wasn't until both sides met at Pearl Harbor when they signed The armistice of Pearl Harbor when peace was declared. This agreement held in
1 both sides stopped hostility and
2 both parties will rebuild the ravaged world and provide humanitarian assistance for people in need in the following years .
3 The Abyss Is to be recognized as entity and any Abyssal can join which nations they want
4 Both sides must willingly share their technology .
5 Abyssals and Shipgirls are declared as different races. They can leave combat if they wish to live a normal life.
6 Shipgirls and Abyssals gained seats in the UN .
Many around the world celebrate the the peace armistice. But some were outraged. various pro human terrorist cells and organizations around the world. They conducted terrorist attacks on Abyssals and Shipgirls.The UN tried to negotiate but failed. They tried to sent peacekeeping forces it worked only for a bit. It wasn't until one of the terrorists attack a hospital using chemical weapons and massacring the civilians who were mostly children. Outraged the UN launched a full scale purge with the help of shipgirls and Abyssals and destroyed any Remnants if the terrorists. Years passed by and the inhabitants of earth finally constructed a spaceship and found the Prothean ruins on Mars and the rest is basically the same in the masses effect game only having the Systems Alliance consisting of Humans , Shipgirls and Abyssals. Shepard can be male or female.
If sheperd is a female she can be human, shipgirl or a Abyssal or a hybrid. you can ship Shepard with anyone
