"Just know one thing: I hate you." When Shuhei stopped speaking, he turned on his heel and left Kensei sitting on the floor, gazing at where Shuhei had been. A voice came from under the bedcovers: "Well, that could have gone better." Rose's head popped out, his blond hair tangled. Kensei turned around to see Rose, and gave his reply simply. "Fuck off." Rose pushed his hair out of his eyes and climbed out of the bed. He got dressed again, and left.
This was not how Kensei had wanted to split with Shuhei. He'd wanted it to go on for more than a month, and not end up drunk out of his skull on whiskey on the night before it would have happened. Of course, that was what had just happened. Shit.
"Hey there. I'm Kensei Muguruma. I think you're Rose?" The man with the long blond hair nodded, and picked up his glass of wine. Kensei continued to speak: "Do you know that girl with the green hair? Oh, never mind, what's going on?" He began to slur his words at that point; the effect of half a bottle of whiskey. Rose's reply was short and almost completely devoid of information: "Nothing."
"Mashiro?" The short, green-haired girl spun around to see Shinji behind her. She asked him if he wanted a drink, he replied in the affirmative, and that was the beginning of a strange series of events. Before that, though: "Where the hell is Kensei?" Mashiro indicated the man in question, who was talking to Rose. "Kensei! The hell are you doing?" He didn't look up.

Mashiro wasn't sure exactly where the hell she was, only that it sure as hell wasn't her bedroom. Some clearance was provided when she rolled over to see Shinji lying next to her. Oh, yeah. That had happened. Anyway, she was sure the alcohol hadn't had that bad an effect. Except, it seemed to have led her into a problem, in that a: she had probably slept with Shinji, of all people, and b: she didn't know what bloody part of the city she was in.

Kensei wasn't leaving the house at all. That was a problem that probably couldn't be resolved any time soon. Anyway, he was taking the split with Shuhei incredibly badly.
