THE TELMARINE CONQUEST IN NARNIA

It all began long, long ago on a stormy night in Telmar. "King, we cannot attack the lands of the north. They are fighters, aye, vast armies and well-armed." Lord Marc said.
"Listen, Marc. This is a famine. We have to move out of Telmar. Call the armies. To arms!" King Caspian l replied.
His five lords took up the shout as well. "To arms!" The castle echoed with the shout. The barracks were crowded. All of the men fit to fight had been called up to take arms. The women and children cried as the wave of mounted horsemen passed through the streets of Telmar. The five lords of Telmar were appointed over the six day march to the borders of Narnia. King Caspian l proudly looked over his work in the tower atop the city. Lord Marc climbed the stairs and soon was next to his King. "We will be ready to march in just three days, Your Majesty. The men are armored and armed. The citizens are worried, but I have them in control." Marc told the King.
"Very well. We will march in three days."
The next three days were a blur to Caspian. The people were starving. Children were dying from lack of food. Finally they marched. To Narnia. When Caspian had his first look at Narnia, he was not surprised. The lush green forests, the clear trickling streams, the beautiful mountains. It was the Telmarines future home and Caspian's future kingdom. However, once he actually set up camp, things became much more difficult. "Wild trees are attacking! Aaaaahhhh!" The Telmarine Army fled the camp as the dryads of the wood attacked the strange invaders. The King took up his sword and went to battle. The dryads were tougher than he thought. Trapped under a pile of writhing wood spirits, Caspian pushed with his last bit of strength. The dryads gave way and the King called his troops into the battle. It was the five lords leading the way, of course, and the dryads fell back. But now an unseen force attacked them from the sides and picked off the telmarine soldiers one by one. "Kill those dwarves!" King Caspian shouted. For it was indeed dwarves, archers shooting from the bushes and behind trees. Lord Marc took his flank silently around to the back of the dwarves. Then they charged. The dwarves had no chance at all, for they did not have much of a chance to begin with. Now they were trapped. "Give no quarter, take no quarter. Kill them all." Marc said. Then the slaughter began. There were some horrific sights, such that if I described to you your parents would not let you read this story. Then it was over. The Telmarines had defeated all of their attackers. "Set up camp, and this time set a sentry as well." Caspian harshly said to Lord Marc.
