"Well, I've beaten the Elite Four... now what?" Brian said, checking his pokedex. He should probably start making some attempt at completing that thing for Professor Rowan, since that was basically his entire reason for starting his adventure. He didn't even have incomplete entries for all the Pokemon. Not to mention he's only captured a total of... 12 Pokemon. He walked casually into Victory Road, hoping to catch some more Pokemon for the pokedex. He walked for a while, and into another room, and he wasn't attacked by a single wild Pokemon. "That's... odd..." he said, as he entered the third room into Victory Road. Then he realized why there hadn't been a single wild Pokemon in the previous rooms. He could see a whole bunch of Gravelers, lining the walls. In the center, was a bulky human wearing a large brown suit.

He yelled in a loud, commanding voice "Attack!" Immediately after saying that, every single Graveler in the room picked up a large rock and threw it at Brian.

When Brian came to, he looked around. He was in a cage, crudely constructed from chiseled-out rock. He rubbed his throbbing head, and yelled to the buff-looking man ", What the hell is going on!?" The man didn't reply, and simply shifted his attention from one end of the room to the other, constantly. Keeping watch like some kind of machine. Just then, a few footsteps could be heard.

The Silhouette of a trainer could be seen standing in the room's opening. The man keeping watch noticed immediately, and ordered ", Attack!" Just like before, the Gravelers hoisted up rocks and threw them at the mysterious person.

The trainer stepped aside, and a huge Steelix bashed into the room, the rocks bouncing harmlessly off it's metal shell. Just then, the Team Galactic battle theme started to play. "Eh?" Brian remarked. The trainer jumped into the room, and was revealed to be a sky blue bowl-cut wig-wearing fashion-challenged galactic grunt. "You've got to be kidding me!" Brian yelled, almost ashamed that he was getting saved by this loser.
