A/N: This was to make up for the fact that I'm not getting enough chapters up on my big stories. Ok I have nothing left to say, let us begin!
It was after the war and Corrin and Kaze had been married for a year and a half now. Corrin didn't know why, but she always liked to count each day they were married like it would end or something. Corrin knew it wouldn't, but she liked to think of everyday as something special. Each day you never know if you will get the same opportunities.
Laslow had taught her that. She had cried when him, Odin, and Selena had left. She saw them walk through the portal and it broke her heart. She stayed strong though, Selena promised that one day they would meet again.
"Honey, you have a meeting with the new archduke of Izumo, remember?", Kaze mentioned quietly to his sleeping wife. "Five more minutes, pleeeease.", Corrin whined. "This is very important!", Kaze chuckled. He truly meant it though. They needed to meet this new archduke.
"Oh fine, but you have to make soup tonight.", she sleepily stated, slipping out of bed. 'She always was graceful, even when she was tired or sleepy', kaze thought. "As you wish.", he replied. "Oh don't be so formal, Kaze.", she mumbled, rubbing her eyes.
"Then stop being so cute.", Kaze replied, fondly looking at her. "What fine I'll-", she started. Corrin shot straight up, her face burning. "What did you just say, mister? Hmm?", she asked. "Hahahaha, you really are always loveable.", Kaze laughed. "Quiet laughing, it's NOT funny. I'm going to go get ready.", she grumbled, stomping off to their closet.
After the meeting…
"I'm really tired…", Corrin yawned. Kaze gave her a sympathetic look before picking her up bridal-style. Instead of arguing, she just leaned into him. "I see lovebirds!", Elise giggled running away when Kaze started blushing.
Elise had moved into the Vallilite castle soon after the war. Xander had begged her not to, but she claimed that her bond with Corrin was to strong to stay away. Too much time with Odin was all that Xander said before Elise moved into the castle. Of course she promised to visit.
When Kaze arrived to their room, he sat down on their bed, setting Corrin on his lap. He held one of her hands on his shoulder and leaned in to kiss her. When he broke for air, Corrin's face was bright red. "Kaze…", she mumbled looking down. Kaze only smiled.
