I still can't believe
my luck in this brief
time of relief
My parents away

how great
They are quite cool
dare to drink and to drool
in front of the audience's stool
I hadn't expected
they'd like me in one
but when I detected
They'd already gone
I met them another time
the following day
(Paul had a delay)
where we said I'd manage them fine.
Since then my dear friends here
some time has gone by
the lads are still that weird
but now they are famous and that's the diff'rence
...I just saw it doesn't rhyme any more
that's terribly awful...
...so I stop.
