Author's Note: I had this idea when I was playing Naruto in my PSP and my friend was playing Fruit Ninja in her iPhone. So…yeah…Please read and please review. :)
Fruit Ninja
"Hey, Sakura!" Naruto called as he chased after her.
"What do you want, Naruto?" Sakura turned around, annoyance evident in her tone and face. "If you're going to ask me out on another date, don't even think about it unless you really want to be in a hospital again."
Naruto pouted. "Don't be that harsh. I just wanted to ask you if you saw Sasuke."
"Oh…" Sakura's expression softened, then became accusing. "What do you want from him, Naruto?"
Naruto blinked. "What's with that tone? I only wanted to know where he is just to make sure he won't get in my way. Oh, and do you know a cheap fruit stand?"
"Cheap fruit stand? Whatever for?"
"For cheap fruits of course! What else? I don't wanna waste a lot of money just to buy some fruits."
Sakura sighed and pointed to a small stall that had a lot of varieties to choose from. Most of them were watermelon. "There's one around the corner."
"Thanks!" Naruto called as he left a confused-looking Sakura behind. He sped to the old man's stall and immediately recognized him from their last mission concerning gym socks, underwear and dog poo…LOTS of dog poo.
The old man leaned forward, also recognizing Naruto. "Oi! You're the one chased me mutt back to its cage!"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah! That's me! Listen, old man,-"
"Fruits? Have as many as you want, boy. Have them for half the price!"
Naruto's face lit up. "I'll have all kinds!" The vendor tossed the fruits into two large plastic bags. Naruto spotted strawberries, coconuts, mangoes, peaches, apples, peaches, bananas, oranges and…watermelons. He smiled at that.
After he got the fruits, he went straight to the Training Grounds. He was sure Sasuke was training there.
Sure enough, he was. He was throwing kunais at dummies. When he turned, Naruto saw that his Sharingan was activated. He knew he had to be careful if he wanted to stay hidden.
He landed on a branch just above a dummy that Sasuke just hit. Not being able to wait, he pulled out two mangoes. He wanted to save the watermelons for last. Then, before he could change his mind and be convinced that this was suicide, he threw them at his teammate.
At the last second, Sasuke pulled out a kunai and slashed at the fruits, splattering juice at him.
A dozen more fruits came and he knew who was responsible: "Naruto!"
Naruto cut the branch and he jumped down with the plastic bags. "How can you know it was me?"
"No shinobi would be idiotic enough to actually fling fruits at his opponents. You're the only one stupid enough to do that."
Naruto just laughed. The fight went on-fruits versus blades. It would have been funny enough…if Sasuke hadn't been so angry about it.
Finally, after about an hour, Kakashi showed up. By then, both boys were covered in fruit juice…especially Sasuke who destroyed most fruits at close contact.
"What happened here?" Kakashi demanded. But he already knew what happened: Naruto had been messing with Sasuke…again.
"I bought some fruits, Kakashi-sensei!" Naruto said.
"I can see that. And your side?" He looked at the Uchiha.
"All I know is that he threw fruits at me in while I was training." He glared at Naruto.
"Are you all out?" Kakashi asked Naruto.
Naruto looked inside both bags. Then he threw a watermelon at Sasuke. Surprised, the Uchiha punched it, gaining more juice on his clothes. And with that, another fight started.
