Glory for Dez

Dez was never the front-person in his group of friends, that honor had always been Austin's ( later Ally's too, when she lost her stage fright ).

Today it seems like Dez finally can have his moment of glory. These days, Dez is no longer the goofy childish teen he once was, he's an adult man with a wife and a son.

His wife is Bella, the woman he fell in love with when he was set up on a blind-date with her and then fell totally in love with her. Their son is named Brian Dezmond DeWinter.

Brian is 12 years old and look almost exactly like Dez, but is not really as tall as Dez himself was at that age and he also has Bella's eyes.

Dez is nervous, he and Bella sit at a table along with Trish and Cat, waiting for Mr Eduardo Gomez III to announce who's won an Oscar for Best Comedy / Action crossover-movie.

Bella put a hand on Dez shoulder.

"Oh my gosh! Dez, you're soo tense. Are you okay?" says Bella with a concerned look on her face.

"Sure, darling! Just a bit nervous, that's all." says Dez.

"Okay, the moment we've been waiting for...the winner of Best Comedy / Action crossover is...'Ghetto-Warriors II: Fire of Hope' by Dezmond Lucas DeWinter." says Mr Eduardo Gomez in a loud clear tone.

"Dez...that's you! Awesome!" says Trish.

Dez adjust his tuxedo and walk up on stage.

Miss Laina McLeod give Dez the Oscar statuette and smile at him.

Dez take his place by the mike, holding the fancy Oscar statuette and lightly clear his throat and says in a nice calm tone "It's an honor for me to get this award. Since I was a little kid it's been my big dream to one day become a famous movie director. To stand here, in front of all of you is a dream comin' true. Also I promise to keep making great movies in the years to come. I wanna thank my team, who made this movie along with me and also my beautiful wife Isabella and my friend Trish and her wife Cat...as well as my other two friends, Austin Moon and his wife Ally, who unfortunately couldn't be here, since they are off on their world-wide rock / pop tour at the moment."

Dez is very happy. This has been his dream for as long as he can remember and even though he hoped to someday be where he is right now, he never really thought it would actually happen.

Bella smile, she's happy for her beloved husband. She know hos much this means to Dez.

Two weeks later at Dez and Bella's house.

"Guys, I made it!" says Dez with a huge smile as he show Ally and Austin the Oscar statuette.

"We know, Dez. Austin and me saw you online. You were awesome." says Ally.

"I agree. Dez, well done. You've worked hard to get this far and you truly deserve it, man." says Austin.

"Thanks!" says Dez.

The End.
