Title: This Is a Job for a Real Diva

Plot: Beth Phoenix reflects before going into her WrestleMania match.

Disclaimer: I own no one. Part of my who I want to win at 'Mania series.

I take pride in being the Diva's champion. I love being a woman wrestler, love following in the footsteps of greats such as Trish Stratus and Lita. What I don't take pride in is the fact that the WWE loves to humiliate us divas who truly belong in the wrestling world. Take my best friend Natalya Neidhart for instance. She's strong, she's beautiful, and her current storyline is that she farts and grosses people out. Really? Her family is perhaps the strongest wrestling family in the world, except for the Guerrero's, and she's reduced to farts. It's disgusting. It's degrading. She shouldn't be reduced to this while girls like Kelly Kelly take the honor my best friend deserves.

Take the match I'm in at WrestleMania for prime example. It should be something epic, since this is the year of epic face offs. We have Rock and Cena, Hunter and Taker…and me and Eve fighting Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos. Maria Menounos of all people! She works for a damn celebrity gossip show; she's not even a wrestler! Eve and I, I can understand that. People love the thing she has going on with Ryder. I'll have to admit, even I love the way she's jerking Zack's heart around like a rag doll. Kelly Kelly? Hell, I'll even spot her that one. At least she's a wrestler, or some sort of semblance of it. Maria Menounos has no business being in that match. They could have made it anyone, hell, even Alicia Fox and I wouldn't have minded.

The fate of women's wrestling is a sad reality. I'm afraid that one day the real lady wrestlers, girls like me and Natty and Tamina and Karma won't be needed. We'll be a thing of the past. I'm afraid that the way things are going, girls like Kelly and Alicia are going to be what the world needs.

When that day comes and there is truly no place for me in women's wrestling, I'll hang up these boots in the WWE and I'll go somewhere they'll appreciate me. Hell, maybe I'll try my hand at the celebrity gossip show that Maria Menounos has like she's trying her hand at the job that I hold so dear.
