Spoilers, spoilers, spoilers!
Ubisoft owns Child of Light and all its characters; not I. To you, dear readers, I simply pose this: out of true rhyme, this final what if:
No mercy in the Child of Light's heart; Nox no sister of hers. For, 'some people are different from you, no matter what you say or do, nothing will ever get through'. Betrayed, disowned; ambushed. Nox, a would-be assassin, in struck down, slain; then Umbra felled after.
So there ends the tale? Ascended as Queen, a child no more; rule over Lemuria. But wait: Aurora herself once lay at death's door. Wishes returned her; why not Norah as well? Could such a queen find time to explain, to be accommodating? Could Nox lie dead, and Norah separated? Could they be 'family first, now and forever'; even with the past, stand 'together'?
But Nox lies dead, and Norah too. No one's left to wish it wasn't true. A queen to wander her land; filled with her subjects, friends and foes; but gone forever her papa, her sister? Could all Lemuria's wishes restore Cynbel's line? Does any dew fall from her eye?
For Nox's choices, there was no mercy. Yet what of the ring of emeralds three; the sun, maybe? Or one for each: Cordelia-Crepusculum; Umbra; Norah-Nox? The power to return; a last gambit, a final guarantee? If only…
How far would a Queen go to restore her once-family? A sister redeemed? Darkness quelled by light? Or did it end with that final sword blow? Nox felled, her mask, Norah put to flight.
