The camera faded, to reveal the host, Chris McLean standing on the dock. "Hello world wide viewers! We're coming at ya from Camp Wawanakwa! Where you ask? Somewhere in Muskoka Ontario!" The host chuckled.

"22 teenagers have signed up to compete on the first season of an all new reality show, in the hope of winning 1 million dollars! They'll be battling it out against each other to prove their worth, but, only one camper will be left standing, and that camper will win the whole sha-bang!" Chris explained.

"Find out right here, right now, on Total, Drama, Island!"

(Theme Song Plays)

"Alright viewers, we're going to meet our first 11 campers. They're under the impression this is a 5 star resort, so if they seem a little pissed, that's probably it." Chris motioned towards the camera

The first boat pulled up, 11 males stepped off, and stood in a line.

"Boys, welcome to Total Drama Island!" Chris introduced.

"I wondered why we all had to share one boat. Now looking at the island my answer is given to me." A blonde spiky haired boy remarked.

"Anyway, let me introduce you to our viewers." Chris ignored the boy."

"Meet, Nicholas." The Camera panned to the first boy, a very tall white male with blonde curly hair, wearing a denim jacket over a plain white top, and black skinny jeans. The boy smiled at the camera.

"Kane." It panned to the next boy, another Caucasian male, but with long blonde hair that went down to his back, wearing a black and white hoodie and black jogging bottoms underneath, and white sunglasses tucked into the front of his hoodie. Hey dudes, nice to meet ya." The boy commented.

"Simon." The next boy was a black male, with curly black hair, wearing a black shirt which said "Hi, there I socialised." In white writing and black jeans. The boy didn't even acknowledge the camera, and instead put his headphones in.

"Arnold." The next one was another white male, with short brown hair. He wore a black leather jacket, showing off his chest, and blue jeans. "Hey, Check This out!" The boy commented, before rolling his eyes to the back of his head and laughing.

"Christopher..." The Caucasian male with blonde spiky hair from before, wearing a red and black checkered shirt with black jeans. "So glad to be here." He sarcastically remarked, giving a fake smile.

"Henry!" A Latino male with slick brown hair, wearing a blue button up shirt, with a white blazer over it, and white jeans removed his sunglasses, and scowled at the sight of the camp. "We're staying here?"

"No! You're staying here! My crib is an airstream with AC, thataway!" Chris responded, the camera panning back to him.

"Great...just Great." The boy wheeled his case over to the other contestants who had been introduced.

The camera panned to the next boy, an a Caucasian male of average height. He wore a simple black hairstyle, and a plain black top, with a brown v neck over it, and a pair of black jeans. He dramatically threw back his purple scarf. "So this is the fair Total Drama Island! Hark, I have never seen such a beautiful sight!" He gasped.

"Right...thanks for that Danny, and next we have Archie!"

The camera panned down to the shortest male so far, a Caucasian ginger male, flexing his abs in a white tank top and grey running shorts, and a yellowish shark tooth necklace, hanging from his neck. "Dude, when are the ladies arriving? Cause so far this is a total sausage fest." Archie asked the host.

"In good time my man! Now, meet Carl!" The camera panned to a male similar to Archie's height, but slightly taller , a Caucasian male with short blonde hair, wearing a plain green shirt, with similar green jeans. He fixed his glasses, and then smiled at the camera. "Good to be here!" He commented.

"Next is Kirk!" Chris introduced the male of average height, a black male with a shaved haircut, wearing a Star Trek shirt, with a black bomber jacket over it, and black shorts. Equipped in the side of his jacket, was a pretend blaster.

"Great to he here! Can't wait to get to know all of you!" He waved, eagerly.

"Is that a toy gun in his coat?" Nicholas asked his fellow contestants, to receive no answer.

"And our final male contestant, Tobias!" The camera panned up to the Caucasian male, of similar height to Nicholas, with brown hair, wearing a white top, with green camo print on the side, and a pair of blue shorts.

"Thanks Chet! Glad to be on...what's this show again?" He asked.

"First of all, it's CHRIS. And this is Total Drama Island." He deadpanned.

"Oh right! Thanks man!" He patted the host on the head and walked over to the others.

"Now, our female contestants should be arriving any moment now!" Chris announced.

Moments later, another boat appeared on the dock, and slowly and awkwardly, 11 female teenagers varying in looks appeared on the dock.

"Meet Erika!" Chris introduced, and the Camera panned over to the first contestant, shorter than every male so far, minus Archie. a Caucasian female, with long brown hair, wearing a black jacket, over a white shirt with a cloud pattern along the top and bottom, topped off with black skinny jeans, and an orange beanie over her hair. She simply nodded at that camera, appearing to be deep in thought.

"Alright...next is Jennie!" Chris raised an eyebrow, before the camera panned to the Asian female, with short blonde hair that had pink highlights along the bottom, wearing a white top that nearly went down to her knees, and black leggings underneath, topped off with a black hat.

"Hi, Nice to meet you all." She warmly smiled, causing some of the boys to either give an awkward chuckle, look away, or in Archie's case, flex his muscles again.

"Wendy, everybody!" Chris introduced, and the camera panned to the prettiest contestant so far, a Caucasian girl, with brown hair that went down to her shoulders, wearing a purple crop top, and blue booty shorts, and a pearl necklace around her neck. She smiled at the camera, and all the boys either dropped their jaw, or froze.

"Now that's what I call a superpower!" Chris chuckled. "Anyway, next is Lila." The camera panned to another girl. A Caucasian female, with a long red ponytail, wearing a plan white top with a black collar, and black leggings under that. She also had an evident pen, going through her bun. She simply scowled when the camera panned to her.

"...ok? Meet Karen!" Chris introduced. She was a fairly tall Caucasian female with pink cap over her otherwise bald head, with a blue top and pink leggings underneath. She waved at the camera. "Hello guys, nice to meet you." She smiled, some guys smiled back, and some exchanged whispers. Eventually, Nicholas spoke up. "Forgive me for this question, but are you a..." Nicholas couldn't bring himself to finish, however Karen nodded. "No don't worry, I'm better now." She reassured. All the boys fell silent, not sure what to say, even the girls.

"Well this is awkward..." Chris murmured. "Next is Chelsea!" The camera panned to the next female, a black female with short wavy black hair, a white top, and a blue skirt. She gave a slight glare towards the camera, and nodded.

"Over here we have Millie!" The camera panned to the short Caucasian female, wearing blue and red dungerees, with her hair in two french plaits. She moved her foot on the dock. "Hey Chris, they dock doesn't feel very stable..." she pointed out.

"Meet Abbey!" Chris introduced, ignoring Millie's concerns. The girl was quite tall, a Caucasian female with long blonde hair, the top covered by a red baseball cap. Wearing a white basketball top with a red 4, and white basketball shorts. She also had her left hand noticeably bandaged all the way near her elbow.

"Can't wait to meet everyone." The girl commented.

"Next is Carla!" The girl looked extremely shy and nervous. She was a average height Caucasian female, wearing a black shirt with a red pencil on it, and a long Black skirt that went to her knees. She wore black thick glasses, and had messy black hair, her right eye covered by a fringe. She didn't even look up at the camera.

"Umm...okay? Rebecca, everybody!" The camera panned to a slightly agitated Caucasian female, slightly taller than Carla. She had short blonde hair, with pink highlights, wearing a sleeveless black top with a picture of drumsticks on it, and blue ripped jeans, with a red denim jacket tied around her waist. "It's Becky." She corrected. "And I don't care." Chris responded, cheerful smile.

"And our final contestant, India!" Chris introduced another female, this one had mocha skin, and long wavy brown hair.

She wore a sleeveless white top, with a Rose pattern along the corner, and a short white skirt underneath. She smiled at the camera, then to the boys.

"Alright everyone! Now that you're all here, come and pose on the dock! We need a picture for the promos!" Chris informed, and the contestants shrugged and walked over. Chris jumped onto the girls boat which hadn't left yet and prepared to snap the picture. The contestants were posed along the dock, smiling. "Alright, everyone say Wawanakwa!" Chris informed, preparing to take the picture, before the dock collapsed and the contestants fell into the water, causing Chris to chuckle. "Guess I should've listened to Millie huh?" He gestured to the camera

"Alright campers! Dry off and meet me at the campfire pit in 10!" Chris announced, before running off the dock.

The camera flashed, to reveal the 22 contestants sitting by the campfire pit.

"Alright campers! This, is the campfire ceremony, where whenever I feel like actually hosting a challenge, one of your fellow campers will be voted off here, and will leave Total Drama Island for good." The camera panned to show the worried faces of some contestants, and the unfazed looks of some others.

"The last camper left standing, will win total Drama Island, and go home with 1, million, dollars!" Chris excitedly announced.

"So what exactly are the sleeping arrangements like? Because I want a bunk under this cute thing." Archie smirked, putting his arm around Wendy, who's eyes widened.

"They're not mixed together, right?" She reassuringly asked the host.

"Na." He waved her off. "Dudes get one side of the cabin, and chicks get the other." Wendy breathed a sigh of relief, and removed Archie's arm whilst glaring at him.

"Oh, one more thing! Along the way there's a confessional, where you can record your innermost thoughts and feelings to the world, away from the ears of your fellow campers." He explained

~ CONFESSIONALS ~

The Ginger boy eyed the confessional. "Well, this place is a total dump, but there are some very foxy ladies out there, it's only a matter of time before they realise they can't resist this." Archie flexed his muscles and winked at the camera.

The camera cut to static, then revealed Simon awkwardly rubbing his arm. "Honestly, I'm impressed I actually went through with this. I'm not what you would call...a people person." He awkwardly chuckled.

~ END CONFESSIONALS

"Alright, it's time to put you guys into teams! When I call your name go stand over there." Chris pointed to the left of the campfire pit.

"Nicholas. Jennie. Lila. Simon. Chelsea. Christopher. Carla. Danny. Becky. Carl. And Millie." Chris announced, the camera showing a shot of each contestant as their name was called.

"From This Moment on you guys will be known as, The Screaming Gophers!" Chris threw a banner at Carl who unveiled it. "Cool." The boy smiled.

"The rest of you, go stand at the other side." Chris informed.

"Kane. Erika. Arnold. Wendy. Henry. Archie. Karen. Kirk. India. Abbey. And Tobias. Move move move!" The camera once again played a shot of each contestant, focusing on Tobias as he ran to the side.

"You guys, are the Killer Bass." Chris informed, throwing a banner at Tobias. "This looks awesome!" The boy chuckled. "Let's Go Killer Bass!" He cheered, dropping the banner, before picking it up again, still smiling.

"Any questions?" Chris asked, as a few contestants raised their hands. Chris looked around for a few seconds. "Cool, lets go find your cabins!" He then walked off, leaving the contestants to exchange confused glances

The camera flashed to show Chris standing in front of two cabins. "Gophers, you're in the left cabin, Bass you're in the right. Go get settled in." He then walked off

(GOPHERS)

The camera showed Chelsea opening the cabin door. "Great, bunk beds." The girl rolled her eyes. "Well this is a summer camp genius." Becky commented, pushing past. "Would you like to say 'excuse me'?" Chelsea glared back. "I could." Becky started climbing into the top bunk. "But I won't." Chelsea began to grit her teeth.

Millie, Lila, Jennie and Carla walked in past them. Millie set her bag down and tapped the bunk. "These don't look very Safe." She said worryingly. "What Type of rope did Chris use? Oh wait! Have the mattresses been checked for bed bugs? Also..." the girl began rambling on, much to the annoyance of her team mates.

~ CONFESSIONALS ~

Becky groaned in the confessional. "Well, so far the other girls on my team suck. Lila and Chelsea Are way too uptight. And Millie is like the most annoying person I've ever met!" She sighed. "I hope Carla and Jennie are cool, or hopefully the guys are." She rubbed the back of her head.

Millie was seen writing on a notepad. "I'm writing a list of everything wrong with the cabin, hopefully I can get Chris to do something. What else is there..." She stopped to tap her chin. "Oh, there's also the log burning stove, gotta fix that." She wrote that down also.

~ END CONFESSIONALS ~

Nicholas opened the door to the boys side of the cabin. "Oh cool, seems like one of us gets an extra bed." He informed.

"Well feel free to fight amongst yourselves for it, I'll be here when you're done." Christopher spoke up, before opening a book from his suitcase.

Simon shrugged, as did Carl. "I honestly don't mind." Simon added. "Neither." Carl chimed in.

Danny looked around for a moment. "I guess, I shall take the blessing that is the extra bed, alas, I thank you my dear teammates." And bowed before walking over the far side, causing Christopher to raise an eyebrow, and Nicholas and Carl to exchange a confused look.

(BASS)

Archie, Henry and Tobias walked out the Bass cabin and looked around. "Yo, host dude! Where are the bathrooms? I've got some things to plug in." The boy then smirked. "You don't look this good naturally."

Chris chuckled. "Don't I know it my man! The communal washrooms are thataway!" Chris pointed to a path leading into the woods.

The Ginger boy looked dumbfounded as a fly went in one ear and out the other.

"It means we share a bathroom, dumbass." Christopher walked past, still reading his book.

"What! You wanna surround a dude this good looking with a bunch of losers?" Archie whined.

"For once I agree with the doofus over there! I refuse to bathe around such peons." Henry folded his arms.

"What are we talking about again?" Tobias added.

"Well there's no rule saying you have to bathe. Take it or leave it." The host shrugged.

The two former boys groaned once more, before making their ways through the path in the wood.

The host stared at Tobias. "You good there Tobias?" The host asked.

The boy gave a double take. "Oh! Right!" And with that, he ran off.

Chris looked confused for a moment. "Right, well you all have 30 minutes to unpack, starting now!" Chris yelled. He was about to walk off, before a scream caused him to flinch.

Simon, Christopher, Arnold, Abbey And India all appeared outside the girls side of the gopher cabin. "What's going on!?" Exclaimed. It revealed Becky on the top of her bunk screaming. "Kill it! Kill it!" She exclaimed, pointing at a tiny spider.

"Aww, tough girls not so tough!" Chelsea sniggered, before Becky threw a spray paint can at her, causing her to drop. A few more contestants screamed, and Kirk fainted.

Then, the spider appeared before Simon who shrugged, picked it up, and set it free outside the cabin.

"All this over a spider?" Simon chuckled. He walked over to Becky's bunk. "It's okay to come out now, it's gone." He informed, as the girl slowly pulled her head up, and took Simon's hand, causing the boy to blush as he helped her down.

"thanks." She smiled, trying to avert her blush.

"No problem." Simon sheepishly rubbed the back of his head

The camera panned to Christopher who was watching this ordeal. "I give it about a week." He whispered to Abbey.

The camera flashed white to reveal the contestants lining up in the mess hall

"Listen up maggots! I serve it 3 times a day, you eat it 3 times a day! Now grab your trays, get your plates, and sit your butts down!" The chef screamed, and the contestants responded with haste, off camera.

"Excuse me, will we be getting all of the 5 food groups?" Wendy asked

"Yeah, my Personal Trainer would kill me if I ate too many carbs." Henry added.

As they continued talking off camera, Chef's glare grew and the spoiled kids both widened their eyes. "Never mind! This is fine!" Wendy laughed, with Arnold nodding and they both walked off.

"This Dude needs like a major chill pill." Kane whispered over to Kirk who chuckled.

"What was that!?" Chef screamed off camera, causing the two boys to freeze

"Come closer man bun, I didn't hear you!" The camera panned to the chef motioning for the boy to come over.

"Umm, I didn't say anything dude!" Kane nervously reassured.

"Mhm, I'm sure you didn't. Now sit your ass down!" The chef screamed, causing the boy to run off after receiving his food.

The camera flashed white to reveal the contestants now sitting in their respective teams, picking at their food.

"Morning Campers! Enjoying the breakfast?" Chris asked, as he walked in.

"Hey Chris, is it possible to get something delivered?" Kirk asked as the camera played a shot of his food moving. Suddenly, a meat cleaver flew past Kirk, just missing his head and hitting the wall on the other side.

"Never mind! It's cool! It's all good! Right guys?" Kirk nervously asked everyone else who nodded, minis Millie.

"Are you sure, I still See a lot of pro-" she started, before Jennie covered her mouth. "It's great! No worries!" She nodded, terrified.

"That's nice." Chris said, not seeming to care. "Your first challenge, begins in one hour!" He announced staring at his watch, before walking out.

"What do you think we'll have to do?" India asked Archie. "Relax babe, I'm sure it won't be that hard! Only our first challenge." He smirked back at her, as she gave an awkward look.

The camera panned to the giant cliff, revealing all 22 contestants in their bathing suits staring at the bottom of the cliff. The camera panned out, and panned out again

"Oh for f*ck sake." Archie groaned.

And that's the first chapter of Total Drama Island: Reimagined done and dusted!
