A/N: Just a fun little one-shot I thought of earlier this afternoon. Takes place right after the events of Doublemeat Palace. Also, I'm using bold as a strikethrough, since I'm too lazy to actually use a strikethrough. Oh, yeah, and this takes place when Dawn's at school, so for those of you that hate her, I don't think there's anything you really have to worry about in here - whining and complaining and such. Finally, uh, Dawn's list is kind of a reflection of what my list would look like, since I pretty much identify with Dawn the most out of all the characters from Buffy. Her personality is usually the most like mine. So if you read this, you'll be learning about me! :D Including the A/N, this is only 332 words.

Ways to Support a Deadbeat Sister

Dawn pulled her English notebook out of her backpack along with her favorite pen - green with awesome fuzzy stuff on the end. She couldn't believe the timing - had she not just been talking to Xander about this last night?

Her assignment was to make a list of possible potential careers.

Writer. I think I'm creative, and I keep a diary. And I like writing stories and stuff. Plus, if I write novels, I can combine that with pretty much any job I want, which is pretty cool.

Doctor. Buffy slays the vampires that attack people, then I give them a tetanus shot when they trick themselves into believing they got scraped by barbed wire.

FBI Agent. Just like Mulder!

Slayer Doesn't pay enough money, so never mind!

Lawyer. When Buffy gets in trouble with the law, which I'm sure she will eventually, what with being out all night and looking like she's beating people up (when really she's just beating Spike up), I can defend her.

Dentist. I can be a sadist like that guy in Little Shop of Horrors! Mwahaha!

Yup. Dawn definitely had one bright future ahead of her.
