Nico's POV:
"Nico! Come help with the laundry!" Will yelled out loud from the balcony. I shadow travelled from the living room to straight in front of Will. Will shrieked for a second when I appeared. "Nico! I told you not to shadow trave-" I knew how to face Will when he's like this. I went on tiptoes and planted a kiss on Will's lips and Will looked surprised. After I pulled back, we both did the laundry together. We have been living together for about 4 months now. Everything in this flat was new. Well except for this little things we took from our cabins back at camp. After the laundry was done, we went inside and ate some lunch that Will made. He does most of the chores at home and cooks. Will's food tastes very good most times when Will doesn't try new things. I look up from my plate and look at Will's bright blue eyes. His eyes always makes me want to kiss him more and cuddle with him.
For the past 2 months, I have been thinking of proposing to him. I really want to marry him and have a big wedding and do all that happy family thing. Then the desire to marry him took over me. After lunch, I get some money from my drawer with a sticker that says 'Nico's personal stuff' Will always asks me what was in there but I kept it a secret. It was filled with money and pictures. The money was about one fifth of my salary that I kept to myself. If Will knew about this money… Oh dear… I stashed all the bills into my pocket and walked out of the house after shouting, "WILL! I'M GOING OUT! DO YOU NEED ANYTHING?" Will responded from the other room. "NO! I'M FINE!" I walked through the streets of Brooklyn.
The streets were quite cold for spring. I walked for several blocks and pass a toy store. There was a poster of Mythomagic cards. It reminded me of the old times. Oh how emo I was. I nearly laughed out loud when I think about what I was in Camp Halfblood. Before Will came into my life and ended my miserable life. A quick thought about Bianca came through my mind. I smile. I don't cry or anything anymore. I just smile. Bianca was the best friend I ever had. The most caring. But I have will now. I moved on. Bianca is a memory from the past. I had to move on. But that doesn't mean I forgot her. I still miss her. But I try not to break down. It was what the Fates chose. I continued walking down the street. A few blocks from the toy store and I found the place I was looking for. It took about half an hour from home. I went inside the Atlantic Terminal Mall. I came here a couple of times with Will. But never alone. I felt a little lonely but not much. I went to the shop I was looking for. A jewelry shop. After a few hours of choosing with the dealer, I chose a ring. It was a rose gold ring with a sun and a moon carved in it. The sun really looked like Will when I looked into it. The lady in the shop was very kind. She even gave me a little discount. The stashed money inside my pocket was almost gone when I payed for the ring. But I didn't mind, I loved Will so much. The plan was not to go for something cliché. I wanted to go somewhere casual and pretend nothing happened and propose. I hope Will will accept. I hope.
Will's POV:
Nico went out in the best timing ever. Yes! At last I can get to my plan. I check my phone for my order from an online shopping company. It said the shipping was 30 minutes until it was on our door mat. I waited in front of the door for what seemed like an hour. I was so excited! Then a knock came on my door. I opened the door to find the delivery man. I thank him and close the door. I unpacked the box and found what I wanted. A ring. The ring was so beautiful. The rose gold gleaming so clear in the light. And the moon and sun carved in it. Oh gods! It fit Nico perfectly! I trashed the box and hid the ring case inside my bag. Then I texted Nico.
Me: Where r u neeks?
I wait for him to respond. Then he did.
Neeks: Atlantic Terminal. Y?
Me: Wanna go out 4 dinner?
Neeks:Sure where?
Me: Applebee's?
Neeks: Kay.
Me: Cya there!
YES! My plan is working! I'm going to go to Applebees with Nico, then give him the ring. Yes. This is going to work. Yes!
Nico's POV:
Applebee's, it's really good for the propose. It's casual and the food there is good. Gods, I hope this works. I don't wanna ruin everything I have with him. But I want it to escalate too. I really need to give him the ring TODAY. Or I will probably just hide from the ring forever. Yes. I am going to do this. I wait in front of Applebee's waiting for Will. I take out my phone and text Piper. She should know all about proposing and stuff. I need her help. I go on Messenger and she's online. She's always online, I wonder what she does in Messenger for the whole time.
Me: PIPER I NEED UR HELP. I BOUGHT A RING. I'M PROPOSING TO WILL
Piper: AT LAST! Tips: Keep calm, don't panic, DO WHAT UR INSTINCTS TELL U
Me: Thx
I ended the chat with Piper quickly. I didn't understand what she meant. But Will was coming to this direction. He was wearing a jacket with a Camp Halfblood T-shirt inside. He loves the shirt and wears it almost every day. The jacket covered most of the shirt making only the 'Half-blood' part visible. He smiled when he saw me. When he came near, I held his hand and gave him a kiss. That was our usual greetings. We went in and Will ordered a Grilled Chicken Salad. He always eats "Healthy" or whatever. I got a Whiskey Bacon Burger and a basket of fries. Will stared at me like I was eating something poisonous. He always does the stare when I eat something unhealthy and I like how he does that. He looks cute. We waited in silence until the food came and ate. I was so nervous that I could have summoned thousands of skeletons. When should I do this? Probably after the food. The burger that normally tastes awesome doesn't taste so good anymore. I take a deep breath and finish my meal. Will finished his first and was on his phone. I can't see what he's looking at though. A lady came and took our plates back and I was ready.
Will's POV:
I was looking at an article of "How to propose to your boyfriend." It was so weird doing this but I needed some assistance. I can't just do everything myself. The article said I had to just do what I wanted to. My right hand was inside my bag. I was touching the ring case and wondering what to do with it. Nico's cheeks seemed to be a little pink. I wonder what he's got. Maybe a sickness. Then I just go through a brief worry session that this might fail. But then I made up my mind. I stand up from the chair. "Hey Nico, Come here." Nico looked hesitant but stood up right in front of me. I'm going to do this. In 3, 2, 1!
Nico's POV:
For some reason, Will asked me to stand up, I did. This is the perfect chance for this. I fiddle with my pocket with the ring. I will go on my knee and do this. 3, 2, 1 go. I go down on my knee at the exact same time that Will did. What is Will doing? But I continue. "Will you marry me?" Will said the same thing down on his knee and said the same thing at the same time. I was so surprised. Will just asked me to marry him? What?
Will's POV:
Nico was on his knee too. What? Did he just propose to me? Of course, I will say yes. But I did too. Oh, gods. And the ring. Nico picked the exact same ring as I did. Gods, what's with these Fates? They are amazing! "Yes." We both say. Then he puts the ring on my left ring finger and I put it on his finger too. We both stood up and deep kissed each other. No one was watching. There was no one here. His lips touched mine and for once, his lips were warm. After what felt like ages, we pulled back and started blushing and holding hands. We checked out and walked back home. It was so romantic. Nico was smiling the whole time. While we were walking home, we talked. "Hey, Nico. Where should we do the event?" "A mortal chapel?" "Sure."

"Austin! Is this how you wear the tie?" I asked. "How should I know? Ask Piper!" Piper came to me from Nico's prep room. Oh, gods. I was going to faint of all this. We're seriously getting married! The wedding is a chaos too! What if monsters come by and attack during the ceremony? They said the Hecate cabin made some barriers but how could I be so sure? What if some people didn't show up? What if someone got sick? What if someone got injured? I can't stop thinking about these negative things. Piper finished with my tie. "Thanks, Piper." Mary, their daughter came crawling to her mom. Mary was 4 months old. She crawled to Piper and Piper picked her up. Piper asked Jason to come here and get the baby. Jason came too and got the baby outside. Nico was probably thinking of this chaos too. Gods, Nico. What was he doing now? I become worried about him. Did he remember the notes? I remain settled in the chair nearby for about an hour. Everyone was here by now and so we started the ceremony. Even our dads, yes, gods, came to our ceremony. Hades and Apollo were in this church. I walked along the aisle with my dad, Apollo, and see Nico walking with Hades. Hades was wearing a black robe and Nico whispered something into his ears and his outfit changed into a black tuxedo. Dad was wearing a tunic which made him look more godly than Hades.
All four of us met up at the centre of the stage. Jason was in the middle of us holding two rings. It was my turn to speak. I took a deep breath and repeated my lines I practised for ages. "Nico Di Angelo, my sunshine. From the time you came to me during the war with Gaea, I have loved you. I will always love you. I promise here, now that I will protect you from anything within my abilities and promise that I will make you happy." I had tears running through my cheeks down to my shirt. Nico was crying too. It was so rare to see my death boy crying. It was Nico's turn. "Will, I love you." As soon as he said that, he ran up to me and hugged me. I put my lips close to his and we kissed for a long time. In front of everyone, Nico didn't even go with the script. Our dads and Jason looked a little hesitated but after we pulled out, Jason gave us both one ring. I put him on his finger and he put mine on my finger. We leaned in for another kiss. Now with applause from the audience. And so the wedding party started. We went on the dance floors and played bingo and got drunk and gods. I was so happy. It was the best moments of my life. Then the weird part came. Our parents and most of the people already had left. There was only a few of us including me, Nico, Annabeth, Percy, Jason, Leo, Piper, Frank, Hazel and Reyna. We were all drunk and it was actually the first time I saw Reyna so drunk. We were all being so weird and oh gods. I don't wanna see that again do I? We were all too drunk to even go home. We walked only to the hotel nearby and all slept there for more than 12 hours. After we went back home, I cuddled with Nico and watched TV together. Nico fell asleep on me. And so did I. We both were stuck to each other so much. I love you Nico.
Nico's POV:
