Amber`s pov
I can`t believe I`m sitting here alone in the movie theater while Fabina gets drinks on date night. I mean even Patricia has a date! It`s just my luck I help everyone get a date but I don`t. I know what you're thinking why I even came. I didn`t want to but Nina made me. While I was leaving I bumped into Mara.
"Sorry" she said
"It`s okay" I replied
"Are you leaving too" she asked. I nodded.
"Wait I thought you were dating Jerome, why are you leaving?" I asked
"I caught him in a bed with another girl" she said
"I`m sorry" I said
"It`s okay he wasn`t my type anyway" she said
"Then why did you come" I asked.
"Patricia`s very persuasive" she said
"The movie doesn`t even look interesting" I said
"I know I wanted to see Alice in Wonderland, not the Vow" Mara said
"So why don`t we see Alice in Wonderland" I suggested.
"Why not" Mara said, so we got up and got tickets large popcorn and a small drink each.
Line Break
"That was awesome" I said as we were leaving the theater.
"Anne Hathaway was brilliant as the white queen" Mara said.
"Agreed" I said, we stopped dead in our tracks. It was pouring buckets outside!
"I don`t suppose you brought an umbrella?" Mara asked shook my head.
"Should we call someone to pick us up?" I asked
"No, it`s after curfew, let`s just be glad Victor`s out of town" Mara said.
"Yeah, we could use my hoodie as a shield and run to the nearest bus stop" I suggested
"Better than nothing" she said, so we ran across the parking lot to the bus stop.
"Well that failed" Mara said as we stood under the overhang for the bus stop. We were cracking up and soaked. When we finished laughing I did something I never thought I would EVER do. I kissed her, and she kissed back.
"So you do feel the same way?" Mara asked. I nodded, and then we kissed again. Just as we pulled apart the bus pulled up.
Line break the next day
Mara`s pov
Amber and I walked in to the common room for breakfast the next day. I cleared my throat.
"Attention Anubis house residents, Amber and I have an announcement to make" I said
"Mara and I are dating" Amber said. Jerome chocked on his water.
"You can`t be serious" Alfie said.
"Well we are" I said. They looked shocked. Amber and I just took our seats.
"So that`s what you two were up to last night" Patricia said.
"Yup" Amber said.
