My first fanfic! I've always wanted to give it go soo..here goes!

In this story the gangs still training as genins alongside Kakashi BUT they're a bit older,

sixteen-ish I guess AND Sakura isn't the annoying whiny fangirl she was in the beginning of the show. God how I hated her back then...

Anyway!

Hot.

That was the only word that could possibly describe the land of Konoha on a day such as this. The whole town was at a point of melt down. And what you ask could possibly make this day worse?

"TRAINING?!"screamed the trio of team seven.

"Yup"nonchalantly replied Kakashi, all the while reading his little red book. "Perfect day isn't it? I woke up this morning, saw the bees buzzing, birds chirping and the first thing I thought of was you guys! I know I care to much but-

"You've GOT to be joking!"Naruto whined. "No way! No way! No way!

"Be reasonable Kakashi-sensei, it must be over 90 degrees out there."Sasuke grumbled. .

"No way No way No way!

Sakura slumped tiredly into a leaning position,"Come on sensei, its summer!"

Kakashi looked over the three fuming teens. Indeed, he had woken up this morning. Thoughts solely set on his team, mainly set on however one Haruno and Uchiha. A lot of things have changed in the passing years, especially in his students. They were no longer children, that's for sure. Sasuke's grown stronger, Sakura's gained confidence, and Naruto...well he HAS gotten uh, taller.

Back to the point. He's not as oblivious as they think (I mean he DOES have a sharingan eye or did they forget?) and seeing as they've matured, he has noticed some..Things.

Like last week in the forest.Daily training went about as usual. Naruto and Sasuke were having a bit of a spar when Sakura had casually strolled up to me asking,"So, who you rooting for?"

"Hmm..cant really say...both I guess. After all they are my students. And you?"

"Cant say either-" she broke off, smiling lightly then staring at the two fighters once more, "They both hold a special place in my heart...a place.. I'll hold onto forever"

clank.

Sasuke was on the ground. His kunai had been thrown from his hands, and Naruto stood, towering over him grinning like a madman. Odd. Sasuke had lost. But.. he NEVER lost. What was even odd-er was the fact he was blushing profusely. Even his ears were steaming red. Either he was extremely embraced for having lost..or...How Cute.

But the "things' didn't stop there. They just got weirder. Training sessions became periods of heated tension for the two. I didn't know it was possible for the Uchiha to turn so many shades of red, and in so little time! Of course Naruto was completely unaware.

It was plainly seen that Sakura had, well- has a thing for Sasuke. Plainly. But she's not the same girl she used to be. She's grown into a powerful and wise ninja, with curves to boot. And now, it was plainly seen that the so called-great Uchiha Sasuke has a thing for the caring tomboy Haruno Sakura.

The stage was set, all they needed was a little push and..BAM! Instant couple. And who better to give them that push then they're ever loving sensei?

Playing matchmaker was going to be fun.
