Everything was going just fine in the Host Club. Tamaki was making his princess' swoon. Kyōya calculated all the money that the group had earned so far that day. Honey was enjoying ridiculous amounts of sweet strawberry cake but it wasn't long before Mori reminded him about brushing his teeth. He knew Mitsukuni didn't want to relive that cavity episode again. The Hitachiin brothers were bored, as usual, so they were waiting for their next request. Haruhi was out buying some more instant coffee. It was a perfectly normal day for the hosts. But normal didn't seem to satisfy a certain someone.
"No! No, no, no, no, NO!" All eyes in the third music room looked around trying to find out who made the sudden outburst. The gears of a powerful motor sounded throughout and a hole appeared in the center of the room. Slowly, a girl with caramel colored hair in a yellow dress rose up from out of it and she did not look happy.
"This isn't working!"
"What you mean your whole 'rise up out of nowhere' thing?" Hikaru said in an uninterested tone. Kaoru added on to what his twin had said.
"It seems to be working perfectly fine. What's the problem?"
Their manager was growing angrier by the second. At the top of her lungs, Renge shouted, "That's not it! The problem is this is too boring!" The ladies currently in the room blew out of the room and into the hallway from the boom in her voice. After getting down from where she was, Renge called the hosts to gather around her. "As your manager, I order you to do something different from just your occasional cosplay," she said sternly.
"Like what?" Honey curiously asked, squeezing his dear Usa-chan in his arms.
At that moment, Haruhi came through the door with shopping bags in her hands. Of course, Tamaki was extremely happy to see her and he tried to hug her but she turned him down. Tamaki sat in a corner overwhelmed with sadness. "I got the coffee," she said ignoring him while she placed it down on a table, "and why are they're people sprawled out on the floor in the hallway?"
"Long story," the twins said simultaneously.
"Renge was explaining the way we run the club nowadays is quite uninteresting," Kyōya informed.
Harhui thought to herself, 'Uninteresting? Am I the only one who notices all the strange things that go in this club?'.
"Glad you could join us Haruhi, what my dear Kyōya was saying is true. I believe that we need something new! Something different!"
"Takashi, could you hold Usa-chan for a sec?" Hunny asked and held the pink rabbit out to his cousin.
"Yeah. Sure," he replied monotoniously and took the stuffed animal. The boy lolita then took out a napkin and wiped a smudge of frosting off of Usa-Chan.
Renge was about to yell at the boys for disturbing her train of thought but when she took a good look at them she suddenly got an idea. An idea that seemed flawless in her mind. But it was far from perfect. The hosts were unaware of the fact that tomorrow would be the strangest day of their lives.
