Jade frowned and glared at the flower in between his feet. Was Ken really going to leave and go to boot camp? It didn't seem fair to him. Why would Ken leave him? The boy who had loved him and been there when Candy had turned him down!
The green haired boy threw his water pail into the bushes and slumped against the greenhouse. He buried his head in his hands with a sigh. What was he going to do without that stupid, dorky, and irresistible boy? It was all Candy's fault! All of it! If she didn't push him around and use him then Ken wouldn't have told his father and his father wouldn't be making him go to boot camp!
At the moment, Jade really wanted to strangle Candy. He knew he could never truly do it but he was hurt and sad. He just wanted Ken to stay with him at Sweet Amoris High and love him. Not Candy, but him. He could be the one to mend Ken's heart. Why couldn't Ken see that?
He closed his eyes and he allowed one tear to drip from his eyes. Only one fore it was a sad and unfair day.
