Preface
"Is this going to end anytime soon? It's already been four days!" The super annoying voice cut through the deadly silence. There were many groans after the voice had irrupted, mine happened to be the loudest.
"Deidara! Shut up!" A deep blood-thirsty voice growled. Every head turned to look at one of the fellow Akatsuki members, Akasun Sasori. The shake of my head caught the eye of one of my least favorite people, Uchiha Itachi. This man I hated, for many reason I refuse to acknowledge and tell people. It wasn't that we were different. In fact we had a lot in common, we -as in I- don't see eye to eye, with certain things. But it didn't matter what I said to them I was a weak link because I refused to battle to my full extent. I had good reasons why I didn't battle when something troublesome came around. The main reason was I didn't trust any of these people...well maybe except for 1 or 2 of them, but besides that none of them.
And if they didn't know what I was capable of they can't kill me without extreme caution. And also the other fact was I always hid my face and especially my eyes. None of the remaining few of my clan knew I was alive, I wouldn't allow it. So I just used my first name, Kaori. The only person who knew my surname was my partner, who sadly happened to be reassigned as the nit-wit Deidara. I swear Pain did this on purpose, he paired the hyper-active idiot, with me! But he had kept his mouth shut this long, so I guess I could trust him, I sighed softly and rolled my shoulder's. Deidara and I were the only one's actually in the hideout, where as everyone one else, was projected in here.
As the last eye's pupil filled in, the smirk grew on my face Finally! I thought relieved. The sealing of the four-tails had finally come to an end, and in a way you could say it was worth it.
"Okay, Kaori and Deidara, next go after the nine-tails." Pain said looking me dead on. My eyes narrowed and my hand clenched into fists, thankfully Deidara piped in.
"Wasn't Itachi originally assigned to that one?" He asked.
Pain sighed,"No exceptions, track him down and bring him back." With that he left. I sighed and looked at Itachi, "any hints on who the brat is?"
"You'll know once you find him."
"Thanks for the helpful information!" I grumbled and shook my head as everyone else flickered and disappeared. I sighed and shifted my Hidden Leaf headband as I looked at Deidara,"let's go." I grumbled as I walked out of the hideout.
"Sure thing Uchiha."
