I Will Not Ask If We Should Practice or Not
"Hey, Shishido. What time is it?" Hyoutei's resident acrobat asked in a bored tone.
Shishido flipped through a magazine, not even bothering to look at the red-head. "I think it's time for tennis practice…"
Gakuto yawned. "Do you think Atobe will get mad if we don't come? I'm too tired from yesterday. And I need to study for my test tomorrow."
Yuushi butted in. "Atobe WILL get mad."
"Besides," Shishido started. "You fail all of your tests anyway."
Everything was quiet. Everyone seemed to be tired. Too tired to even move out of their places.
"ORE-SAMA DEMANDS AN ANSWER ON WHY YOU THREE ARE NOT PRACTICING!!" came Atobe's voice, echoing throughout the whole room.
"Yeah… he did get mad," Gakuto pouted, "Jeez..."
"Buchou, can we at least rest? You made us run 50 laps yesterday," Shishido complained, his arm hanging over a chair in front of him.
"No! Ore-sama says that you practice! DO YOU WANT TO LOSE TO SEIGAKU?"
The red-head ignored him. "Why again do we have to do this??" he said sarcastically. "Since when has Hyoutei Gakuen lost to another school?"
Shishido crossed his arms. "You really are a dumbass, are you?"
"PRACTICE! Or it's 100 laps!" Atobe bellowed.
Everyone exchange looks. "Anyone want to join me in doing 100 laps tomorrow?" Gakuto asked tiredly.
"Stupid," Yuushi glared at his partner, "We'll be practicing outside."
Shishido stood up. His whole body was still aching. "I'll be practicing too."
Atobe crossed his eyebrows and pointed at the three of them. "Ore-sama wants to see the three of you in the courts in 5 minutes."
"Hai."
With that, he left the room.
"Why doesn't Jirou get punished?" the red-head asked.
"Atobe got used to his sleeping," Yuushi explained, "Plus, it seems to Atobe his skills are good enough."
"That's not fair!" Gakuto wailed.
Shishido walked up to the narcoleptic. "Hey, Jirou. Wake up," he said, shaking the said person's shoulder.
"…Huh? …What?" came Jirou's drowsy voice.
"It's time for practice."
Jirou threw a tantrum, "I don't want to practice!!" he complained like a child would. "NO! I don't want to!" After several seconds of shouting, he fell right back to sleep again.
"We better get going," Yuushi reminded the others.
"Ore-sama says 1 minute left!" came Atobe's voice from outside.
With that, the three left the clubroom, leaving sleeping beauty inside. Jirou really IS unfair. And that would never change.
The End
