A LOST Drabble, scarily OOC on Ben's side, Ben/Richard
Did I mention it's my LOST OTP?
Named after my favorite Supernatural episode of all time.
Only put Romance because I wanted to hint that it's Ben/Richard. I really have no idea what genre this is.
Benjamin Linus was not a fan of surprises.
Never really was, to be honest, so stumbling in the woods when you're fifteen-years-old upon a dark-haired man that apparently enjoyed wearing eyeliner (not that there was anything wrong with that) wasn't exactly, how we say, his slice of pie.
Of course. These sort of things have a habit of growing on him.
He never questioned Richard, not once, not when he should have – didn't question the sly smiles and the sparkles in his eyes. It was not his place. Not even when days before, the, ah, Plan, Richard shoved him against the wall and kissed him like he'd never been kissed before. Not even when he vanished the next morning.
Not even when he acted like it never happened.
And so Ben played along. Just because he could. (Not because he didn't know what to do, not, because he wanted to play along.) Because the Plan worked, and suddenly nothing else mattered. Because he had won. And nothing, nothing, would ever take that away from him.
Not even Richard with his sly smiles and the sparkles in his eyes.
