Beautiful dreamer, I watch you as you sleep
Firelight dancing upon your face
Gentle flower with swanlike grace
Your sweet innocence I pray you will keep
So full of life and so eager to learn
With a smile that lights the darkest place
Like a soft breeze on a hot summer day
You seem to fill my heart's empty space
Ever-thankful you came along my way
For your peace of soul I yearn
Bright green eyes like the shining sun
A heart of compassion and love
Dream with everything you are, little one
Fly freely, dear precious dove
So much of yourself you're willing to give
Selflessly so that others may live
You followed me into a life unknown and new
A vision of and angel of beauty so pure
Radiant from your very core
