Okay, so it's Christmas eve, and I'm sitting here listening to Linkin Park, Breaking Benjamin, and Meg and Dia...lol I'm weird. Anyways, here's your Christmas/Holiday present for me! Happy holidays! I hope you like DxS ;)
Danny grinned as he walked up to the door. It was Christmas day, and his friends were coming over to help decorate for the party that night. Throwing the door open with a grin, he yelled "Merry Christmas, and Happy Hanukah!" to his two best friends. They grinned back, and returned his sentiment. Stepping back, he let them in.
"Ok, so all we need to do is hang the streamer thingies, and the mistletoe." Danny explained to his friends, as he dragged out a box of streamers and the mistletoe on top. Picking up a string on streamers each, the trio began hanging the green and red streamers with tiny snowflakes around the house. As they were hanging the decorations, Maddie was bringing out plates and bowls out on tables that were placed randomly around the house. When the streamers where all up, the trio took a break and began snacking on some left over icing from cupcakes Maddie had made, surprisingly without bringing them to life.
"The house looks very...merry." Sam chuckled surveying the living room, which was decked out in green and red streamers and white, and blue sparkly snow flakes. There was even a little Santa sitting on a table near the couch. She licked some icing off her finger, and smiled at her friends. Just then, the doorbell rang, and Danny rushed to get it. Swinging it open, almost in the same manner he'd done about an hour ago, he greeted the first five guests to their party.
-Half Hour Later-
All the guests had arrived, and that's when Maddie realized something.
"Danny! You need to hang the mistletoe!" Danny nodded, and he and Sam hung it up over the front door. Stepping down, grinning, they looked over at the guests who were all staring expectantly. Blinking, they looked up at the mistletoe, then at each other.
"Well, kiss!" Tucker yelled out, grinning. Danny and Sam blushed scarlet, and looked away from each other.
"I can't! She's my best friend."
"I can't! He's my best friend!" they yelled at the same time, only adding to their humiliation. Everyone rolled their eyes, and Jack stepped forward.
"But you have to. You're under the mistletoe!" He exclaimed, looking happy. Sam and Danny glanced at each other, and Danny looked away again. Sam sighed in exasperation, and leaned forward pressing her lavender lips to Danny's. Danny froze in shock, then slowly relaxed. Tucker grinned and started taking pictures and video. Everyone cheered when they parted, both blushing deep red. For the rest of the night, they stayed close enough so their arms touched.
