Hanamichi could be seen attempting 3 pointers from the middle of the court. A lot had happened in the past few days. He had punched Gori right in the face. German Suplexed Rukawa... HANAMICHI SAKURAGI GERMAN SUPLEXING SOMEONE?

And he had also made Haruko cry. This could be considered as his 1st high school and 51th heartbreak suffered by him in his life.
But the Sakuragi legion wasn't throwing confetti at Hanamichi's face...
Takamiya was sitting near a street basketball court eating a packet of chips. Noma was fetching and passing the ball to Hanamichi after each shot, almost all of whom where missing. The other two had gone out to investigate.
Later when they returned, everything became clear.
The legion was eating at a restaurant when Yohei begin explaining...
" Haruko and Rukawa weren't dating. There is a friend of Haruko whose brother has tuberculosis in his right leg. He won't be able to play basketball after getting operated. So, he wanted to play a practice match at Shohoku with his school's ex-captain Rukawa. That's why Haruko was talking with him".
"But that doesn't explains why Haruko started ignoring Hanamichi"
"There was someone in the crowd, a guy with a mustache. When Shohoku beat Kainan, He congratulated Haruko. He is the some person from whom Haruko brought shoes from or buys shoes from. Haruko friends think that he told something to her about Hanamichi, which she denied. She has been ignoring Hanamichi ever since".
Everyone looked at Hanamichi, who stopped eating. He grazed out of the window for a while and the began eating his noodles again after rubbing his eyes.
"Noma told me that you don't practice shooting near the basket like Anzai Sensei asked you to, but try shooting from the half court. What happened in the Kainan match was just a super fluke Hanamichi. You can't learn how to ran without learning how to stand. As for shooting from the midcourt, even Rukaw-"
Chuichirou Noma grabbed Yuji Ohkusu's mouth before he could finish saying the R-word around Hanamichi. Hanamichi's left palm formed a fist for a second, then relaxed.
"What's wrong Hanamichi? He almost said Rukawa"
Takamiya covered his mouth, awaiting his doom... But nothing happened...
"Ummm... Does anyone wants to eat biscuits?"
Everyone said "No".
No reaction from Hanamichi.
"Does any has a blue Bucket at home?" Everyone said "No".
No reaction from Hanamichi.
But everyone had now figured out what Yuji meant.
"Hey Nozomi, do you know someone called Kukaka?"
"No, But I know someone called Rukaka"
"Are you sure that his name is Rukaka? Last time I heard you call him Ruwaka"
Noma's face ended up getting covered with the soup which was there in Hanamichi's mouth a moment ago.
Hanamichi coughed and then to everyone's suprise, apologised to Noma.
"Gomenasai"
Silence...
