Life and Death
Two aspects of this world
Inescapable
The time of rebirth is nonexistent
All things start and they all must end
The circle of life continues
No matter what happens
Time stops for no one
Sunrises and sunsets are always beautiful
You see miraculous things once
Maybe twice in a lifetime
The clock ticks and stops for each life
Innocence still lingers
The spirit within us, tears fading away
We see the golden light and the sweet release
From pain and agony
Heaven is a utopia, both real and imaginary
Earth is a kingdom, tough but fair
Light shines and darkness recedes
The Gods lend us their hands
Loving every creature
The spirit lives on
Their love forevermore
Fade to black
It is a concept
Once they end, you never see of feel them again
Fade to black doesn't mean the end
It's only the beginning

(A.N: Last week, my father passed away from a long battle with cancer and this poem is dedicated to him. May he rest in peace. This is also relevant to Yami and Serenity because they will love each other till the bitter end. For Journey Maker.)
