Robert found himself staring blankly through the window. He wasn't quite sure why he kept staring out of the window to the pouring rain outside. All he knew was that he hadn't been himself after his latest beybattle. Maybe he wouldn't feel normal ever again. And how could he be normal after what happened? Robert raised his beyblade to observe it. There she was. Just in front of Griffolyon. She didn't look like she was scared. But he was. How could he not be when he saw love of his life trapped inside his beyblade?
"I'll get you out of there, Alice", he whispered, "I promise"
He had no idea how he would do it but he had to figure out something. Again his mind wandered to the locked room where he kept Alice's body. Her empty shell had been laying there for six months now. No one else knew about it, except for him and her. When someone asked about her Robert would always blame for her being busy and travelling. He hadn't been blading ever since, he hadn't gone anywhere. He hadn't done anything. He had stopped living. His teammates had been begging to help him but he would only turn them down. He couldn't afford them or anyone knowing. Alice... Alice... Alice... Her name came to his thoughts constantly, refusing to leave him alone. Robert knew Alice wouldn't have wanted his life to stop because of the accident. But he couldn't go on. He didn't have the strength.
Robert visited Alice like he did every day before going to bed. Looking at her she hadn't changed a bit as if she was only sleeping. Would she stay like that forever if he didn't find a way to free her soul? Would she still look the same when he would grow old? A sad thought of Alice sleeping in empty halls of Jürgen castle forevermore after he was gone crossed Robert's mind.
"Good night Alice", Robert said and placed a sweet kiss on girl's forehead.
Months passed by without any progress. Robert spent his days staring out of window hoping to wake up from this nightmare. It had been exactly a year since Alice got trapped inside his beyblade. Day was awful. Robert screwed up everything he started. By midday he had given up trying to keep himself busy. Instead he went to Alice. He sat by her for hours just talking. He told her how he felt guilt for her being trapped inside his beyblade. He told everything about his year. Then he couldn't speak anymore. He bursted into tears. It wasn't like him at all but he couldn't keep them inside him longer. He cried bitterly. As he cried a teardrop dropped onto his beyblade causing it to start glowing. Bright purple light broke from it as Griffolyon bursted out carrying Alice. Or more like her soul. Through his teary eyes Robert saw Griffolyon laying Alice's soul onto her body. They melted together. Alice's lids trembled weakly. As she opened her eyes Griffolyon disappeared.
"Robert", she whispered.
"I'm here", answered Robert who was now crying and laughing at the same time, disseminating kisses all over the girl's face, "and I'll never let you go again"
