Ichigo never took anything for granted, and never let anything slow down his stride. Life couldn't get any better for him, and he'd been happy for a few years. Rukia had stopped the rain, and all of his friends and family made the sun continue to shine.
Ichigo never did stop looking after his little sisters, despite their protests that they weren't little girls anymore, and he never did stop looking after his whack job of a father. Isshin didn't stop looking after his Ichigo, either, but he looked after Ichigo in secret, so that he could avoid being pummled. Once a day would be plenty.
Ichigo never did stop protecting his town from the hollows, because he wanted to have a family someday, and he wanted to have the family in the town he grew up in.
Ichigo never did hurt anyone intentionally, and when he did, he did everything he could to get the guilt off of his back so he could move on with life.
Ichigo never did want to see his friends die, and he didn't want to have to banish them to Soul Society, but he'd had to do it over the years. He was lucky enough that when his little sisters died, both in a car crash to go watch Yuzu's daughter, and Karin's little son at a soccer game, he didn't have to banish them because they went peacefully.
He and his Dad were devastated, but got over it quickly when they both realized that they'd get to see their girls again soon.
And they did, because Karin was soon a Lieutenant in Squad 11, and Yuzu a nurse for Squad 4.
Ichigo never stopped living his life as a Soul Reaper, and when he was forced to because a group of Hollows had gotten to him when he'd been low on energy, he went peacefully, and was reincarnated as a person with the same personality, and the same outlook on life.
