Something That Len Should Never Do: Dance

Dances are popular for a while. However, it takes a bit of time until it interests Len Kagamine. Soon, he wants to learn them. But what happens when his counterpart finds him? What will the others do, laugh at his attempts, help him or join? With Rin by his side, he's determined to become the Master of these dances. R&R?

I'm not dead! I'm working on Abduction still, and Run. But along with that, I have many more stories that I'm workign on at the same time! This is just going to be a super short story, with each chapter (or "section"), not being longer than 1,500 words. Eh, I have no idea why I'm posting this. Probably for amusement.

CRASH!

It sounded like something broke. Rin rushed up to the dance studio as she heard strange noises.
Foot movements or somebody jumping rope, she didn't know. With panic, she crept closer,
unknown to what she would see. The music was party music, what was going on?

"What's happening?" The small blonde girl zipped up her sweater. The music was blaring through
the doors and it was English. Rin frowned. Why would they be having a dance party at this time of day and to English music?

She peered inside, and there was Kagamine Len, her duet partner attempting dance moves. He
moved his legs in quick motions and Rin thought that he was trying to moon walk. She broke out in a fit of giggles.

Len, whose face was fully flushed, paused the music and appeared horrified. "W-what?" His
smooth tone brought Rin back to reality.

"What do you think you're doing? It looks so funny!" She burst out laughing again, and held her stomach because it started to hurt. Tears came to her eyes. Len groaned.

"It was popular in North America. It's called shuffling and it looked interesting soo…" Len avoided eye contact. Rin grinned widely.

"Teach me!" She attempted to look cute. He motioned her to come inside. She clapped happily.

Len stood still, "First, you have to be still then.." He clicked play on the remote. "You criss-cross yous legs in a walking movement but pull them back so it's like your moonwalking in one spot." He yelled loudly, hoping that she could hear.. but she didn't didn't understand how his explanation worked. Slowly, Rin tried to copy whatever Len was , she didn't exactly follow his instrustions. The blonde grabbed the remote and paused the music.

"How about we just ask Gumi for help? She's a great dancer." Rin suggested, since she was frustrated with trying to learn this new dance.

Len nodded, "Sure." He grabbed Rin and they ran out the dance studio's door in order to look for the carrot-loving girl.
