A/N: just a bit of fluff that came to me in the middle of the night!
"I'm getting fat!" Lindsay wailed as she began to get dressed for work. "Montana baby, you're not getting fat." Danny reassured, kissing his girlfriend's temple tenderly. "You're just creating a nice home for our baby." He added, affectionately stroking her ever expanding bump. "I'm getting stretch marks too." She whined, brushing Danny's hand from her stomach.
Danny knelt in front of Lindsay, inspecting her bump, his fingers gently sweeping across the same path as his eyes. Danny placed his hands wither side of her bump before Lindsay placed her hands on top of his. He kissed her belly button before he spoke. "Lins, I can't see any stretch marks, can't feel any either. Want me to put some lotion on anyway?" Lindsay nodded down at her boyfriend's upturned face with a slight smile. She reached over to the dresser and handed him the stretch mark lotion she had bought, hoping she would be lucky enough to not need it. Danny squirted the lotion onto his hands, rubbing them together to warm the lotion a little before applying it to Lindsay's stomach. He tracked small circular movements across her stomach, all the time talking to their unborn baby. "See the things I do for your Momma hey baby? It's a good job I love her so so much, 'cause I'm running the risk of Uncle Don finding out about how soft she makes me, and then we'd never hear the end of it. I can't wait to meet you, I want the next four months to fly by so I can see you, and hold you. I love you so much already lil baby and I love your Momma for giving me chance to prove how much I love her and you. Just wait 'til you meet her properly baby, she's so beautiful and so amazing, she's gonna be the most wonderful Momma, even if she doesn't realise it yet."
Danny kissed Lindsay's bump before he stood up. "All done Montana." It took him a brief second to realise tears were silently rolling their way down Lindsay's cheeks. He gently held her face in his hands, brushing away her tears with his thumbs. There was no need for words; he knew exactly why she was crying. He pulled her close, her ear resting perfectly on the skin revealed by the v of his t-shirt collar, her arms wrapped tightly round his back, one of his hands resting in her soft curls, the other in the small of her back. And they just stood, holding each other, breathing almost as one: Danny, Lindsay and their unborn child.
