I won't say I'm in love

I thought of Maya and cam when I heard this song.

When I saw him walk into our French my stomach did a flip-flop. He was so cute and even though he was on the hockey team I could tell he is not like the rest of them. Like when I fell this morning instead of laughing at me, he helped me up. I shook my head I am not falling for Campbell Saunders. No way if Katie found out I was remotely interested in a guy she would have my head.

"Maya are you listening?" Tori said as she waved her hand in front of me.

"What did you say" Tori and Tristan followed my gaze.

"Oh my gosh you like Cam!" Tristan gasped.

"What no I don't!" I said much too quickly. Both Tori and Tristan gave me the oh-yeah-sure-you-don't look.

"I am serious guys I don't" I say loudly. Our teacher looks at suspiciously and then continues to grade papers.

Tori rolls her eyes "oh yeah sure Maya"

Oh no I am falling for someone again. After what happened the last time I am not falling anymore. See but when I first started Degrassi I met this guy Zig and he was really sweet. So when he first said "If you could save a life, would you?" I couldn't say no. But after that I helped him and Tori get back together and while yes Tori is now my best friend it still hurt. Well that's ancient history but I do not wanna go through something like that ever again.

"Come Maya admit!" Tristan whispered.

I roll my eyes, "No way there is nothing to admit"

Tori laughs "Are you kidding you are looking at him like he is your soul mate"

My eyes widen "N-no I d-don't" I stuttered.

Tori's yes narrow "don't even try to hide it"

"Ya you were like swooning" Tristan adds.

I bang my head on the desk "This is not some cliché movie guys!"

NO! I have been down this road before and I got my heat broken. I was moping around the house for hours before I decided to suck it up. I can't handle another heart break.

"You keep denying that you like him" Tristan says as he guestures to cam.

Tori sighed "Just face it Maya you like cam"

I shake my head "I do not like him"

"Yet eveytime you look at him you smile like an idiot" Tristan points out.

I sigh "Can we drop this subject, please?"

Later when I get home I go on face range and I have a new friend request Campbell Saunders. I jump up and do a happy dance.

"Hey Maya why are you so happy?" Katie asks

"Oh nothing" I smile. At least out loud I won't say I'm in love.
