Bebe looked slightly frustrated as she looked at the paper on the gymnasium doors, taped down with black tape. Three dudes want to be in the show and they all were people Bebe has very different views on. She gazed at her name in blue glitter pen BEBE S in front of the female fictional female oppression leader of America 1925. The female suffragettes, dubbed, Bebe's Army of Powerful Women. Were told they had to write an essay as to why Hidden Figures and The Help were important to females of today and act out a powerful speech in history. The teachers adored the fact that a white girl did a black male's speech in 1999 for the Apartheid, but she did just spend the entire year in history class doing world history, and listening to Wendy berate Cartman about Black History Month being just as important as Gay Rights and Female Rights.
The male half of the school didn't take this play so seriously. They thought it was a game, a big joke, something to snort at while eating hot pockets at the cafeteria, discussing how stilettos are the new canvas shoes (Not Very).
"Hey" Someone tapped on Bebe's shoulder, snapping out of her dreamland, "You had been staring at the page for a while"
"Kyle" Bebe gestured at the page, "Do you have any idea how bad this looks?"
"No" Kyle stared at the page blankly, "The girls got their parts really quickly"
"There's a reason the guys are taking so long" Bebe pointed at Kenny's scrawl on the audition page next door to the cast list with blue sparkles for ink.
"Because the majority of the dudes aren't taking it seriously?" Kyle wondered, "I'm sure they do care, they're not vocal about it"
"They think this is a play" Bebe said flatly
"It is a play" Kyle frowned, confused
"N- That" Bebe sighed, frustrated "The majority of the men here are awful!"
"Really!" Kyle frowned, crossing his arms "So are you"
"That" Bebe stared, "Is the best comeback you've got?"
