The story starts when Walt just died very sadly, and Mickey promised him to bring joy and magic to families and when Disney Channel came. It seemed like it was going to be like MTV, only show cartoons like Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, and Goof troop, but when all those crappy teen shows started airing on Disney channel, Mickey needed to put a stop to it but there was a bigger threat to the future of hand-drawn animation, and here's the story to it. Toy Story is the property of Pixar Animation Studios and the Walt Disney Company. Mickey and co. are property of the Walt Disney Company.

The Future Of 2D animation

Chapter 1: Toy Story Premiere

Our story begins in 1995 and Mickey is at a premiere for the first ever fully computer-animated feature film, Toy Story, and the public is there to see the stars of the movie, and when the movie is over, Mickey said he loved it, especially the humor. And when John Lasseter asked Mickey if he could let his characters be attractions at Disneyland, Mickey was more than happy to agree. But when his friend, Roger Rabbit tells him it could be bad for the 2D animation business. But Mickey ignores him and decides to go along with it. And when he signs it, he later realizes that he made a huge mistake. Fast forward to ten years later, and Mickey is shooting his new movie with his friends called Mickey, Donald, and Goofy: The Three Musketeers, he realizes why Disney's 2D films aren't doing well, people are watching computer animated films more than 2D films, their recent film, Home on the Range just bombed at the box office and people decided to see Shrek 2 instead Disney's rival, DreamWorks Animation, which was computer-animated, was really successful at the box office. Also, Pixar was really successful with their new films. So, Mickey called the press the next day to say something he would regret saying,

"I called you and my pals here to say" Mickey tried not to cry saying this,

"We are closing down the hand-drawn animation studio in Florida and turning the Burbank studio into a computer-animation facility.

A reporter asked Mickey if there is going to be another hand-drawn film,

"We don't know, that is all for today." said Mickey leaving the podium wondering the future of his career. What could happen to him, we'll find out in the next chapter
