My Aunt's House

A Short Horror Story
By: Kinikinimilkytan

I'm Kageyama Tobio. I was only a first year in high school when I lived with my aunt. My aunt's house is with in the campus. Her two children are also with us. Kyoko-nee, the eldest is in her senior year and Hitoka, the youngest was in first year and a classmate of mine. Torou-nii, our gay cousin, a college student also lives with us.

Our house is messy at the back as the right side. You can see lots of mahogany. On the left side you'll find an old dam that looks like a swimming pool inhabited by tadpoles, worms and other eeky insects. The boys dormitory is our nearest neighbor 50 meters away form us.

My aunt is sick at that time so she had to be admitted to hospital far from campus. We remained in the house. The power ran out while we were eating dinner. We have heard lots of stories about our home so we decided to end dinner and went to our room upstairs. The stairs is just opposite the dining table adjacent to the living room with no divider between them. So if you're on the second floor you can see both the dinning and living room. No complaints though, since we don't have lots of cash to even build a house with a perfect floor plan.

We we're already in the room the lighting we used is only flashlight. We laugh because nii-san (gay cousin) tells a funny story when we suddenly heard the sound of the ceiling fan on the first floor, because the wall of our bedroom was just plywood. We heard it since we have two ceiling fans, one is in the living room the other is in our dining area. Thinking that the power is back, nii-san stood up and turned on the light, when he clicked on the switch the sound of the ceiling fan stopped.

"This electricity making fun of me." He joked.

We just laughed and ignored it thinking that the power ran out again. Exactly as he had just sat down the ceiling fan sounded again, as well as what happened to the light switch, when he clicked it the sound stopped. We decided to go downstairs and take a look at the ceiling fans and when nii-san pointed the flashlight to the outlets, we were all shocked to find that none of the ceiling fans are plugged ... we ran back to the room decided to just ignore the sounds that we hear.
