"It is for this reason that Calypso Silverwind Jingler will be removed for the Assignable List. This will also bar Pryce Duskmoon Sparks from being a fairy god parent."
The few faires present let out a collective gasp. There had been times when a fairy had been put on the Substitute Fairy list because of too dangerous wish granting. Jorgen Von Strangle was permanently on that list. But never had a fairy been completely removed from being able to be Assigned when they were in their prime. But then again neither Calypso nor her husband, Pryce, were full Fairy. Both of them were hybrids.
"Don't punish Pryce," A slight Scottish/Irish accented voice croaked out.
Wanda Fairywinkle-Cosma blinked in surprise. Beside her, her husband's, Cosmo Cosma's, head jerked up. It seemed to take the council member aback. Then he seemed to give the Fairy/Elf hybrid a hard look.
"Pryce Sparks has proven himself a hazard on Friday the Thirteenth," The council member spoke deliberately, gesturing to the blue and black haired Fairy/Anti-fairy hybrid sitting next to her.
"Pryce can control himself. Just because he is his own Anti-self, doesn't make him a hazard," Calypso shot back, not removing her eyes from the floor. A ripped and scorched teddy bear was in her hands.
Wanda frowned. Sure Calypso and Pryce were pretty much the only hybrids in Fairy World. But they never meant anyone any harm. As far as Wanda was concerned, they were good God-Parents. It wasn't fair to bar the both of them after only two god-kids. Granted the last one was in the 1800's. But it wasn't fair that both of the kids had died during Calypso's and Pryce's assignment to them. This child, the reason they are getting barred, was living in London, they were heading back to the underground bunker when the bomb hit. Wanda shook her head, her and Cosmo's current God-kid was living in America. They haven't gotten caught up in the war, just yet.
"That's simply your opinion. He is not allowed to be a God-parent," The council member said matter-of-factly, "That's the end of this meeting."
Three days passed and Wanda found Calypso out near the big wand. She was aware that Calypso sometimes had a bit of a short fuse. Wanda took a step forward and something crunched under her foot. Wanda looked down and was surprised to see a wand broken in no less than six places. The bottom had been wrapped in a red and green pattern, so there was no doubt on whose wand it had been.
"Oh, hello Wanda. I thought you were someone else," Calypso didn't bother looking up at Wanda as she spoke.
""You don't seem to be taking this too well," Wanda noted, sitting next to Calypso.
"I shaved Jorgen von Fathead's hair," Calypso provided dully.
"Wanda had to stifle a laugh. She had to be serious, "Why haven't you changed your hair back to normal?"
Calypso looked up at her, her eyes were a dark blue. The multitude of colors in her hair seemed to be as dull as her eyes. Calypso's normally red and blue black fringed hair, already unique, now looked like a kid had grabbed whatever colors they could and scribbled all over her hair.
"I don't want to...Plus it enrages Captain No-Fly," Was Calypso's simple answer.
