Chapter One: The Cookie

"Somebody! Help save me from this monster! Can't get away from grasp of annoying monster," grunted Cake. She desperately tried to wriggle from her grasp, but she held on firmly… tickling the cat. Fionna laughed at Cake's reaction. She enjoyed the fact that Cake was afraid of something other than Marshall Lee, the Lich, or burnt pancakes. As soon as she released Cake, she shot out of her arm gasping. "Baby cakes, do not every do that again, or you will regret that." Cake warned, trying to sound tough but actually funny because of her constant panting.

BMO started beeping and chirped, "Fionna, time to go to sleep. Time to go to sleep. Time to go to sleep." "Awww, BBBMMMOOO. I reeeeeaaallllyyy want to go chase wolves with Marshall Lee," she drawled with every syllable hanging in the air. BMO shrugged and pointed at Cake instead.

Cake POV

Fionna looked at me with her glittery kitten eyes that begged me. I gave a grunt before giving in. "Fine, but be back before ten. Don't prank Bubba either or make trouble. U-N-D-E-R-S-T-A-N-D!" I shouted sternly before she escaped through the door. Suddenly, the begging face disappeared and in its place was Fionna's happy face. I snickered and added quietly, "Don't do Tier Fifteen either." Fortunately, Fionna heard and turned around quickly. With her face as red as a ripe tomato, she nearly shouted, "Eww, Cake. I… no… I. Just eww. I'm only fourteen, and Marshall's just my bro." Then, without another word, she turned even redder and slipped through the door.

I started to feel the chills as I turned around. After baking a pancake (don't want it to burn, so ya), I closed the darn door that wind had been coming through. CLUNK! I ran to the source of the noise as soon as possible, because it was from the kitchen. "God, please let the pancake be okay" was my first thought in panic, but then, I remembered about the house and added "oh, and the house too." On the table was a cookie. "COOKIE! COOKIE!" I thought in the beginning. "Wait, there is a note." I said to myself. "Dear Cake, I missed you very much today. Sorry for the sloppy writing and the not so descriptive words. I am still trying to learn English. I remembered that you were at work today, so you would be hungry. Trust me they will change you. From, Your Lover." I read out loud. I looked at the note suspiciously.

I don't work, because I am an orange spotted cat for lump's sake.
