A Temple of some sort, there is no windows the roof is high. Behind me I hear gates closing, I walk between sculpted and painted pillars. Greek mythology? In front of me is stairs leading up to a landing.
On top of the stairs is two young looking men sprawling, playing a board game and laughing as they pass a carafe between them.
The one facing mostly in my direction has goat horns on his head a black goatee and long hair partially braided, brown leather pants and goat hoofs. The upper body is massive and muscular with most the chest covered in a dark mat of hair the skin is a deep chocolate.
The other mostly facing the other way has dark hair falling over his shoulders and down his back in layers that is reflecting like gold, the lean body and light skin in contrast to his companion.
The goat man laughs and says with a surprisingly melodious voice.
"You are the God of Law, my friend. How did I end up arguing for you to respect the Rules?"
The golden haired one laughs and grab the carafe.
"Oh, my friend! Rule and Law is just another word for Order. Order can never last forever, it will perish in the Winds of Change.
Tell me, witch part of the Orgy excites you the most, my Friend?
The goat man smiles, licking his lips and answers slowly.
"Oh… The first steps are sweet. The dancing, drinking fumblingly cautious steps away from the everyday problems.
The afterglow, that is not bad either. Waking up after having tumbled, not quite sure where and when they are.
Oh! The sweaty living mass of bodies, touching licking enjoying. Not many things are as good as that.
But the moment in between.
That precious little time when the cautious steps lose their reservation, when the dam brakes and all rules gets forgotten in the ecstasy of here and now."
With a feverish smile the goat man, reach over and drag the golden haired into a kiss.
"That moment, that! Is the best of them all!"
The golden haired man is laughing as he is released from the kiss, handing over the carafe.
"And still you think I should not break the rules?
Without Order there can be no Chaos, but it works the other way as well. If there was no rules to break, would there be that ecstasy?
Perhaps it is time to take those fumbling steps, to break the rules and catch the Wind of Change.
Who knows where we will wake-up? In a new day with a new Order and new Law."
Goat man groan exasperated as he lower the carafe and gesture at the board game in between them.
"How did we end up here? I just said that the rook can't be moved that way!"
Laughing the golden haired man takes the carafe back.
"And I said that I don't care."
When the young man tilt his head back to drink from the carafe the shining golden hair fall back revealing a familiar profile. I draw a startled breath.
He turn to me and I'm caught in shining golden eyes.
Methos.
